i had the Arabic firmware before,it was something like (S8003JPI4)firmware
but, the reason i upgraded to the latest european version was that i heard that you can install the java games into the latest firmware(by including java apps)..but in the course i lost the answering machine option
:(
1) Please advise me whether i can play full games while downloading the games from blogs??
2) i tried to download the arabic firmware from link provided at www.samsungjetonline.blogspot.com but after downloading, the zip was found corrupted.

If there is no more stock for JET Navi bec. its price is goin down my suggestion go for OMNIA II and remember there are lots of OMNIA like OMNIA pro and OMNIA II and Omnia Lite and OMNIA HD, my suggestion go for OMNIA II because it and has Windows Mobile 6.5 and has 800mhz cpu processor which is fast and has lots of features for you to enjoy...

i want thank samsung because it produced best mobile in last 2years and i advise them don,t pull it from retail now because it hasn,t any compititor till now

Hello everybody! If someone could answer a question about this phone I will be very gratefull :) My question is can you minimise a java app so for example you are playing a java game and want to turn on the music player,can you minimise it and visualise it in the task manager? I have a Samsung Soul which has a basic task manager but I cant activate it while a java app is open :( I also would like to know if you(a Jet user) are satisfied with the touchscreen. here in India instead of Jet S8000, Jet 2 s8003 is available no Jet s8000 is in the market

Samsung just rolled out Samsung Jet2 with some improved features in India, please provided us the detailed review with specifications.

There's just a newly opened Samsung shop here in our place. It's a Samsung shop, not just a dealer. I asked how much this phone costs but they said it's out of stock. I don't know what they mean but it seems it's discontinued in production but I hope it's not.

Would help if they listed compatability for security type for the Wi-Fi, E.G. WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK. Samsung only list in the maual EAP-TTLS, PEAP, Currently I do not know ANY wi-fi router that has this type at all, definitely not my Netgear DGN2000

i got an iphone for xmas and just sold it and got the s8000 jet, i love it the cameras better, phone quality in general is better the only thing different is the mobile internet

in addtn to my previous post, the jet that i had purchased really did have a factory defect.. the touchscreen.. the dealer could have replaced it but stocks were harsh.. production stopped? or just really in demand? no one knows..so.. i added some cash and bought an omnia pro b7610 at the same samsung dealer. awesome phone!!! but expensive..

Hello. I have some questions about this telephone. I've read here in your posts, that the touchscreen is not so good, were you right or just speculations? I'd really want to know because i want to buy it. Here in Romania, the phone is somewhere at 200 euros or 280 $. Please tell me the disadvantages of this phone !

hi guys i just bought this handset. its rocking. i hate nokia and never suggest anyone to go with nokia . if u dont beleive me just see nokia 5800 xm .it often hangs abd freeze . but jet is having a great value for money.. and those who are having confusion between jet nad omnia . i suggest just go for omnia....
