I just got this phone and am using it in the US with AT&T. Does anyone have the settings for internet and MMS? I've tried everything and can't seem to get them to work....! Thanks in advance!

hi...what is the possibility of new softwares installation in this phone......??
which all video and audio formats does it supports??
and which all documents can be viewed like pdf..etc?

actually i bought jet around a month ago..
but last day i faced a problem that my phone got hanged 3 times in last 2 days after completion of a call..can anyone help me with that

rf258, 16 Apr 2010i have just purchase the s8000 and the wifi keeps turning o... morejust find on your home menus wi-fi icon and tap it.you will see a dot with wi-fi, tap it again and this will
disable it .you haven't added a wi-fi connection yet-
resulting in message connection failed.

i have just purchase the s8000 and the wifi keeps turning on by itself, and a message box comes up every couple of minutes saying "connection failed".
i should have disabled the gps (set it to 900/1800), bluetooth is also disabled.
this is resulting in battery draining in 3 hours.. awful.. any help will be appreciated as i'm still learning of the phone's features.

i'm a bit confused.i'm going to buy the jet today,so do i have to fully dischrge the battery first or shall i charge it for 6rhs before using.please help.thanx

I Nee... moreTake Nokia,sound quality same but easyer set up the internet and more user friendly in the IT things ie WIFI, conect to PC etc.
I have 5800 and JET. I use jet almost 2 months and 5800 from the first generation.

Do not get this phone. I've had one for about 3 months now and all I can say is it's dreadful. Browser is slow; app support is woeful; java engine is really slow - java version of Uno that used to run fine on my old Sony W850 is so slow it's unusable on the Jet; Samsung has confirmed that iPlayer support will not come to older Jet's only the new Jet Ultra - even though they are essentially the same phone; sometimes the sensor that sense your head is next to the phone does not work and your ear actually then mutes the handset; touch screen is just OK, not amazing and awful for big fingers. I actually now dislike texting because the phone's touch screen interface is so prone to errors I just find myself correcting my typing all te time; its reasonably good for video playback however the volume sometimes reduces for no reason and you have to power cylce the phone to get the volume back to normal; the phone constantly forgets settings in the camera like where it thins it stores files sometimes defaults to the phone even once set to the memory card; battery life is only average. Basically this phone is dreadful with poor support from Samsung. Get something/anything other than an S8000.

800mhz processor is too much for this fone.

im trying to figure out which is better on performance and specs between LG Viewty Smart or the Samsung Jet.. i need help asap! which is better for a extensive texter, and photo taker, i dont mind on mp3 useage cos i have an ipod... help!

Is it possible to install a SMS CHAT feature on this telephone ?
SMs chat is a type of SMS menu that u can see the whole context of the conversation... pretty much MSN like...but very fiew phones have this and i change phones alot so i dont think it's worth to buy a 450Euro phone to have that...
Im pretty much looking for a touchscreen ....Wifi and SMS chat phone..
I found these closer to what i want
JET: Apparently no SMS chat but has WIFI
Vodafone 360 Samsung M1 has chat but no WIFI
If i could install a program that enabled JEt to have sms chat i would buy it..if not i think im going for the M1
Any1 knows if its possible to do that? thanks
