Hi Guys,
Ive been eyeing samsung Innov8 as a replacement for my old Nokia N95. But at the store, I saw another Samsung mobile, the S8300 and that had me thinking on which mobile I want to get. They are about the same size (S8300 is slimmer though) and offer the same specs but the S8300 have a touchscreen interface and it will be nice to have a keypad + touch screen. but after reading opinions and reviews for both phones, I think the Innov8 is the better choice but the touch and keypad of the S8300 is soooooo tempting.
Just a few quick questions:
Will I be better off with the s8300 than the Innov8?
Is the Pixon even a choice given the lack of features on it spec sheet?
I have been reading a lot of comments about bad battery life, since I will be ridding myself of my iPod 5th gen, will the battery life last me 9hour shifts listening to music?
and lastly, I also read that the S8300, freezes at times, for those who have this mobile, is it really that bothersome?

Don't get this phone is turely awful. Samsung are a load of s*** and take the mic. Software for the PC that comes with it is rubbish don't get

Hi,i have this phone 1 week and so far its great,except the battery.Does anybody know wether i can get another battery for s8300 that has more power so i dont have to charge it 2wc a day???Please say yes i can.

Nice phone, design-wise. Haven't had the battery issues others have complained about, but not had the phone long either...
There are some serious downsides to this phone: no cut'n'paste for txt\email, no cursor key - only point and touch to get to any particular point in the text (makes editing v.tedious), T9 is terrible (trying using apostrophes, eg "John's"), touchscreen not accurate (or I have fat fingers ;)), and worst of all, and totally contrary to the specs on this site, there is NO document viewer.

Had the phone 2 months now iv had 2 send it away cause it has become faulty, still waiting 3 weeeks l8r :( any1 else experiencing any problems??? another thing wen i was at a concert and took a video the sound quality was really poor, was dis due to my faulty handset or has any1 else experienced dis???

hi guys i got this phone yesterday and i must say it is really a good phone though the battery sucks but it is really good has some nice features and the screen is amazing.
though i do need help with one problem i was playing around with the music player and now i got it stuck to my wallpaper and idoont know how to remove it .
some help woud be appreciated

Update on the battery situation, This morning I used the radio for just over an hour and made about an 8 minute call and I used 2 bars of battery before 10 o clock. Surely this must be a faulty batch as that is ridiculous. I used the internet couple of times (maybe 40 mins max) and another 10 min call and watched about 20 mins of a comedian gig I put on it and the battery was very low (wouldnt play music or videos) by 3 o clock.
Its like having the batmobile and putting a 1 litre engine in it

good looking yes ,but ,battery is awful plus mp3 are not clear as other mobiles and now dislike no d-pad physical buttons,,swapped it for s/ew995 which is nice looking but loads better..

I hav iPhone 3g and it's touch is... moreamoled is just the screen more bright and colourful compared to other screens, it's newer tech and uses less power i've read. But regardless ultra still drinks power. touch screen wise to me it's very good, not multi-touch as iphone but with this phone there's no app or any need for multiple touch. Photo wise it's better than innov8, i bought one for my lil sis so i've played with 1 before. we both took pics of the same thing uploaded onto pc and zoomed in, pics from ultra came out better.

hmm......, 05 Jul 2009touch screen has to be touch by finger tip, stylus or nails... morethanks alot 4 telling.... I hav iPhone 3g and it's touch is awesome... u r write both ultra touch and iphone 3g uses capacitive touch screens.... but iPhone 3g has multi-touch input method.... which ultra touch dont hav....
I was abt to buy n97.... but its touch is not good... I think ultra touch is better than n97... and it's better to hav iPhone 3g and ultra touch both instead of one n97... but can u tell me abt amoled touch screen... I need more information abt its touch screen... also how is its 8 mp camera... is it better than innov8....

I got this phone because I fancied a touch screen 1, overall I like the phone but the battery is woefull. I actually took the phone back because I couldnt get a full day out the battery if I use the internet for more than half an hour and have a few calls. They first told me to switch 3g off because it was searching for a signal and because I stay out in the country I couldnt get 1. I also turned the keypad sounds and vibrations off but it didnt really make much of a difference so I took it back again and they changed the battery to see if it was a faulty battery and they said if its still the same it must be the phone. Still no joy so I took it back and they gave me another phone and this 1 is every bit as bad and I see from the reviews on here its a common problem.
I do like the phone though, not over impressed with the camera but not really used it much yet or used the video camera much yet. I like the fact that you can record the radio, really handy if you want the chorus of a song for your ringtone ot text alert.
The divx will be handy although I only got 1gb memory card so I'l have to get a bigger 1, although trying to watch stuff on it I would imagine i'd have to have it plugged into the charger

toooo hot, 04 Jul 2009this phone has amoled capacitive touch screen... I really d... moretouch screen has to be touch by finger tip, stylus or nails doesn't register. i think it's same touch technology as iphone.
