I have bought the Ultra touch a couple of days back.
When I take the pictures with the camera and I compare it with my digi cam photos..the image size is almost half. My digi cam image size was 4MB and the one taken in Ultra touch was 2MB. How can I increase the image size?
I am using 8M resolution.
The image clarity is not as good as my digi cam.

KD, 25 May 2009I tried dragging the network logo (which is Orange Network)... moreOk,i tried that too,and on my phone it works! I can move it anywere i want on the screen,or put it in the widget list! I dont know why u cant do that! Tont type twice! First open widget list put finger on logo and move it left,thats all! It should work! If cant...maybe its becouse of the network! (Orange)

I tried dragging the network logo (which is Orange Network) to the widget side but it doesn't work. It just takes me to the menu thing.

I'm using this phone 2 hours lol! And i can only say...i am amazed! Only samsung can make such a BEAUTIFUL phone! It looks perfect! New AMOLED screen is great,i compared it with my bro n95 and diference is biiig! Every colour on this phone is so real! Camera is great,pics look very high quality! I didnt try headphones with music but they looks expencive and hq too! I just cant understand why samsung decided to put just one "game" in this expencive phone! I cant even call that game! Other 2 are trial version! Anyone knows where to download games for s8300? Thanks! And sorry for my poor english!

Does this phone have feature AUTO SILENT or ETIQUETTE PAUSE (if you turn over the phone, the current sound is temporarily muted)
what does it mean proximity sensor for auto turn off?
how to use n where i can the setting?

Good morning gsmarena visitors!
I'm using this phone for a month now, and here is my opinion!
+ The design is great and handy.
+ The 8 mp. camera is very sharp! It makes great pictures! Verry happy with it!
+ The touchscreen works very fine and the touch wizz is super handy!
+ The keypad is great! I sms a lot and i would drive me crazy typing an sms on touchscreen.
+ The phone has a lot of fretures, so i don't get bored.(games, mp3, pictures, etc..)
+ The Speakers in the phone makes a nice sound! Good speakers.
+ The phone has also the possibilyty to make maps inside. Its very handy with music and pictures.
+ Internet on the phone was easy to start and use
- But the internet was very slow!
- The GPS is a Drama! Its not a kind of navigation you would use in your car. It is slow and the touchscreen does not work well during the navigation.
-GPS works with internet, so you need to have internet to navigate
-Batterylife is bad! I use my phone often and i have to load it every day. 2 days max.
-NO Wi-Fi... -.-
Conclusion. Still happy with this phone! Not using internet, also means cheaper bill. But Samsung does need to do something with Baterrylife and GPS!!!
Nokia had a build in GPS! thats something this phone also should have..
If someone experienced the GPS well, let me know, am i doing something wrong?

Hi i saw in some videos that when u swipe the finger to the left, the menu will come 'sliding out' from the right side of the screen . However i saw some people like me having the same issue which is when we slide our finger to the left of the screen, the menu just pops up. of course, i dont mind this but i would prefer if there was a way to get the menu to 'slide' out like in the videos. is there anyplace to set this? or is it the phones software or firmware?

Guys please tell me...anyone saw both colours? Wich one looks bether? I order red colour becouse i cant find blue in my town,i just cant find it,they dont have it! I already order s8300 in red,did i make misteake? I am male 21 years!

this is nice handset but i disagree for one thing you pay a good sum of money for this phone and it,s not having a WLAN (WI-FI)THANK YOU BUT NO THANKS

Hi,guys.i am using this phone from one month and believe me it is the best phone i have used.3G speed of this mobile is double of NOKIA N96. I have stored 8gb of data but it still works smoothly.i mean it never hangs like NOKIA N96

Hi. I have had the F480 but found the touch screen takes time when typing sms etc, Also you have to assign a ringtone to each person in the address book and same with sms tones. Is the Ultra touch the same? or can you choose a profile ringtone and sms tone i.e outddoor etc. Surely the keypad would make sms ing easier. I have had no probs with battery life even with bluetooth on.

At the top there is a drop-down list to change different sounds. Choose "New Message".
