I will never recommend this phone on several reasons:
1. You cannot browse the main menu while on call.
2. You cannot control the key sounds when on any profile other than silent mode. You will get the irritating sound when a key is pressed.
3. Every time you start the camera you get a message "not enough memory. Saving in the memory card" by which time your shot is gone. Yes. Even when you have selected mem card as default.
4. You cannot get a list of names and numbers, or numbers only on the phone book. If you want to see all numbers you will have to go one by one.
5. Most irritatingly, this has a fake call option. When you happen to press the volume key it activates a fake call. The obviously protruding key is always pressed while in pocket, and you have to cut the fake call.
Many more unnecessary trouble with this phone, and I recommend any other phone if you want the 8 mp cam, maybe a SE C905. or a good Nokia.

my phone is lock, i cant use internet, no games, can't send MMS, can't use GPS and i can't use my secondary camera. how can i unlock my phone so i can use it..im really frustrated

Mr M, 09 Feb 2011Speaker has also stopped working on my S8300. After a goo... moreI've had connectivity problems-can't access internet, and so can't use GPS. Now the speaker is gone. No sound. used to love the phone, but now it;s really frustrating. Hope I can get it repaired.

Battery life is poor but it lasts about as long as most android phones, about a day. My suggestion, buy a spare battery:-) Camera is brilliant, its a little on the quiet side as well. Overall not a bad phone!

I've got an unlocked Samsung S8300 UltraTouch, but I don't know why the phone is not letting me use the internet. I'm on optus and just wondering if I'm meant to be on 3 to be able to use the internet. Someone please help?

suni , 14 Apr 2011i like this phone so much its a very gud phone with an excellent camera clerarity... but the cost of this phone is not satisfying..... over all its a gud phone but the only thing is to maintain it in a fragile way........
