OLED or not, the 880 mAh battery life is a real downer for such an awesome phone. It's a multimedia device too. You'll be going on the internet, you'll be listening to music and using that gorgeous touch screen a lot, it should definitely have at least a 1000 mAh battery. It's the difference between a whole day of intensive usage and charging it before you go to bed to leaving it on the charger during dinner. Who wants to worry about using features on your phone so you can conserve battery life?

wow!! I like the blue and red colours. Used to love Nokia, but a lot of their keypads is not so user friendly. Now I like Samsung better. I am sure this will be my next phone. So excited. Is there a release date already? 8 mp camera, full gps, nice screen and keypad. Time for Nokia to catch up on design. Otherwise Samsung might take over.

It's so suprising that samsung decided to go for 8mp camera and not to add Gps, making it almost undefeatable in it's category. I guess no company wants to make a complete phone.

Will this phone have the S60 touch OS? I certainly hope so. Otherwise . . . No software for it :-(

In theory, OLED displays should enable the use of smaller batteries. In the real world it could be totally different! Like I posted before, go look at the opinions for the Samsung i7110(also OLED). Some people are already complaining about the battery being dead after a single day and that has a 1200mAh! It is a Symbian fone and it might have something to do with the software needing refineing. I'll wait for some opinions from people who have & use it or some tests before I buy it.

I DONT think that 880 mAh is such a big disadvantage.
This phone uses OLED display tech., which is much more friendlier for the battery life than other mobile phone displays!
or isnt it?!

Again another samsung device with no wi-fi i'm getting really tired of these phones conectivity nowadays is the most important thing not taking pictures it's a shame about the great screen though. But i guess it's a firm policy of Samsung you can't have a great phone with wi-fi and camera you have to buy two phones if you want both...Thanks Samsung but no thanks some manufacturers actually make devices that have decent cameras and wi-fi and don't cost a large amount of money (at least not that large for two devices) so two thumbs down for this phone cause it's a PIXON with a little make up....

This Fone looks Kick-Ass! Lack of WLAN doesn't really bother me. The small battery does! Was thinking of buying the i7110(also OLED) but some people are already complaining about the battery giving out after only a day and it has a 1200mAh! Will definately wait till they test this. Doesn't look like it has a 3.5mm audio jack. Too Bad! If batt turns out to be O.k, I'll buy this one!

Well, as soon as i looked at this phone, i fell in love with it. Then I noticed the lack of WiFi, but that realy did not come as a supsrise. Most of the new phones that samsung release these days don't have WiFi. But it is still a big blow to a good phone, and will probably affect my judgement.

880mAh battery??????????????
Do you really think that engineers can be this stu.pid??
Or they just release something what has to be updated soon.
Corporations just spoon feed us with technology.
