Just a b... morebada os is ok...its still young i had faced a few issues but the gud thing is samsung is providing updates frequently and this is improving...
lags-no lags ya but if u'll multi task den some but dats natural n will be there in every phn...
camera no tested properly yet...seems to be good...better than N73 dat i used...
Slcd is impressive u can se screen widout much diff from diff angles...even in sun light viewing is gud
cant comment on battery as people say dat it improves after 10 charge cycles i've done 2 only...
its not dat bad...u r using a smart phone not Nokia 1100 dat wud giv u a backup of days...
it shud get better with time...
fingers crossed...
as of now no big negatives...!!!

Just a brief review from you will be helpful. One Liners will also do. Like, how is Bada O.S., Is there any Lag while operating the Phone, the Camera Quality, S-LCD Screen Quality and the Battery Life. And, any other Negatives that u observed till now.

Guys, after a lot of thinking, I am finally planning to buy the Samsung Wave II this Evening.
Was very undecided if i should buy this Fone or Galaxy Ace or the soon to be launched Wave 833. But am listening to what my Heart says which says to go get the Samsung Wave II.

Though the Wave 833 sounds promising, it still has a 800 Mhz Processor. So, i think it is a step below Wave II. Only +ve over Wave II is the Amoled Display i guess. I researched a lot on the Amoled and SLCD Screens and though Amoled is superior, SLCD is not at all bad. Atleast for people switching from TFT Screens, like me.
And, you never know when they will launch Wave 833 in India. Coz, as of now, they just plan to launch Ace in India.

Even i am thinking if it will have any effect on the Price. But i dont think it will. It at all it might increase, if they decide to add Amoled Display to it.

Bro, Can you post a quick review of the Wave II you have within the next 4-5 Hours if possible. I might buy it this evening. Let me know if there is any Lag, call clarity, battery life and if it is worth the Money.

Is there anything specific that i should check while purchasing it ? As i heard some Pieces had some Issues.

Please state this phone's screen quality,audio quality,video quality.Does the radio work without headphones i.e. does the RDS actually work?Is the Bada OS good?

as per what I have researched CP uart mode lets you use your phone at its full capacity
while on the other hand AP uart mode is for preventing battery drainage
obviously the phone does not performs at is full capacity but it saves alot of battery
S8500 used to come at CP uart mode setup out of box where as my phone's default mode was AP uart
people say Samsung is doing this because S8530 has Slcd which consumes too much battery..!!!

talking about the speaker first its not that good actually I used N73 before this and it cannot match its quality...
or i wud say it has an ordinary speaker...
now talkin abt the call quality thru the handset(dis is wen u put d phn on ur ear n talk) i wud say i found it better than my N73....there had been no call drops no network problems the voice on both the sides is Crystal clear...!!!
also the earphones provided with the phone are very good at least I liked them.....because the earphones provided with N73 were pathetic...

two week's past i am using wave2 today first time it fallen down form staircase 4 step down by rolling nothing happen to it not even a scratch. well the step are made out of glass.

hey guys i got WAVE II S8530 Rs- 15,250 at laminton road, mumbai. And they gave bill and warrenty also. And it is not 2nd handed.
Hurry up guys.... Its an awesome phone.....

-The Caller loudness (Clear? Quiet? ...Etc)
-Will the caller hear me well?
