18 October, 2010

Samsung S8530 Wave II will premiere this November, but the UK launch will obviously be postponed with a month. The Bada-powered Wave II is expected to hit the UK sometime in December for about 375 pounds.

As we informed you two weeks ago, the Wave II is actually the big-screen version of the first Bada phone - S8500 Wave. In case you need a refresh, Samsung Wave II packs 3.7-iches Super Clear LCD touchscreen, 1 GHz processor, 1.5 GB internal storage, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p video recording and all kind of connectivity options. Wave II will run on the latest Bada OS v1.2.

According to the official twitter channel of Samsung UK Samsung Wave II is getting to the UK no earlier than December. Otherwise the Wave II should hit Europe in November with a pricetag of 430 euro (about 375 pounds), which is a bit steep, but will probably work as an introductory price only.
