OK. I have just seen one; held it, seen it's features and I am really impressed.
To some it will be another phone by a popular japanese maker. Those who live perhaps on a different financial level would never buy B&O anyway so by default are not likely purchasers of this little gem. But then they would not be in the market for a new Bentley either.
Ignore them if you wish to be different and can afford this beautiful piece of design.
Go see one. Then judge. But not in terms of money. Use sheer quality as your yardstick.
I have placed my order; two weeks to wait by all accounts.

The Danish firm Bang & Olufsen ( B & O ) had created the design to Samsung. And i would tell you guys, it would be a very expensive phone because B&O Had created the design, B & O would take 1000's of doloars for it, the took onces 3000 USD for a harddisk (8000 DKK) to a computer ' a design harrdisk' and there televersions cost ALOT! .Well im also from denmark where the firm startet, and im so unlucky because Moto Razr V3x is not comming to us :( Because 3 had not acceptet it because of thats battery living time omg,

1000 euros for this crap ? Nokia 8800 might be ugly and with poor functions , but c'mon; not only it's Nokia, but it looks somehow noble. This one seems to be a make-up mirror. samsung x200 looks much more better.

I really love this phone, its so unique. But the prices im hearing for this, are ridiculus.
You may find the price will take interests off of people more, if it goes down in price really early then i will buy one definatly.

The coolest phone ever!
Finally someone creates a phone where design and a easy to use interface comes first, and then functions comes second. It can operate together with Bang & Olufsen's Beocom wireless phones. Serene is not for people who wants 10.000 functions, but for people who uses their cellphone as a... phone!
And by the way, Serena is not cheap plastic! Anyone who know Bang & Olufsen, know that they are famous for everlasting design and high quality, all the way!
And as long as cellphone cameras are crap, wich they still are, why build it in??? It only ruins the design!

Looks like a calculator... am looking for one. lol i mean.. who would buy one like this piece of junk? it has no special features... more expensive than the 8800... no class no style...

I will definately buy Serene if i like the feel & look of it when i see the real thing!.......BUT Nokia 8800 is a piece of metal junk because of the rubbish & problematic software.....people better avoid it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That looks cheap if compared with Vertu.
So that's not the n°1 among luxury mobiles.
Features also are really poor.
This way Serene is going to be only an alternative to Nokia 8800. Serene is Samsung and its price is 1000€, 8800 is Nokia quality, and cheaper 860€. What one do you think people would buy?

Serene is actualy a Bang & Olufsen phone, where inside technology is froms Samsung, but exterior designed is by Luis Vuitton.

Well I have heard from London that this fone has been delayed until late Jan or early Feb...I agree with beauty being subjective. I myself though cant wait for this fone!!!
