i do face the same problem, now im clear
you need to turn of all push notifications eg: go to email setup n turn off always keep on server and off enable push notification
and apps like chaton, twitter, yahoo im also have push notific turn off them all
still problem delete the network apn profile n resart

star 3 is not good fone if you are thinking a buy new mobile, you have to go for adroid mobile in samsung brand.according to me star 2 dous is better than star 3 dous.
