i love this phone sooo much love the key board but i have tons of battery probsand i cant find how to get auto sign. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

downl... moreMake sure that you have the right drivers loaded on your computer and make sure the phones USB Mode Setting is on "Modem"
I could'nt get the Samsung PC Studio to work with my phone either until I tried switching the USB Setting from Mass Storage to Modem. The mass storage setting is if you want to transfer to a memory card. PC Studio only transfers to and from the phones memory and so you want the USB on "Modem" setting
Works perfectly now

downloaded the studio stuff from thier site and it wont reconize the phone.

I'm using a Gravity as a temporary phone. I haven't had any problems with the battery life so far, but I get horrible reception with this thing! I can barely get service in my own house. The QEWRTY isn't the best, either. It's a little too crammed. The phone is quite heavy, too. It makes my old N95 seem like a feather-weight.

i love my gravity =]. although the battery life is gay it's not that big of a deal just make sure u have a charger with you always

I have this phone and i think that its nice. Veryyyy cheap and thats good. Has basic stuff any other phone would have but i specially like the keyboard.yeaaaaaa.
The only thing i would like is to put your own tones for when u get a text. Also, when u open the phone the background that u put doesnt expand like the default backgrounds do.

I love this phone . Its amazing. The only thing that does not work good is the camera on it . It always takes blurry pictures . but other than that I LOVE THIS PHONE . Its easy to text , call people , and it has all sorts of things on it

It is the battery life indicator. For example, if you only see one line left on the indicator, there is about 40% battery life left. Kind of like when your car's gas gauge is a bit off. No need to panic when it shows low, only when it blinks red. The phone works beautifully, does great texting and takes great pictures. T-Mobile told me that Samsung is working on the issue with the battery life indicator and will let us all know when it is fixed and tell us what to do. I love this phone!!! Go Samsung!!!

Because I bought it, used it at that moment, because the dude who gave me the phone did everything for me, so my phone was turned on after a minute, then the battery began to drop. I had to recharge it when I got home.

Love the phone overall. Message tones suck, however. There are only 4 choices and they're all too mellow and soft. Can't seem to figure out how to change them. You can load your own ringtones with a microSD card, but not message tones it seems. That really sucks. Got it for 50 dollars via tmobile.com with 2 yr. extension. There's a 50 dollar rebate so basically, it's free. Big step up for me as the phone it replaced was a nokia 3390. Would have really liked an iPhone or g1 but can't see spending so much on the data plans.

teresa, 28 Feb 2009i need help dowloading my pictures from phone to computorGet a usb cable for the Gravity. Make sure you get the right samsung drivers installed on your computer. Then download the Samsung PC Studio from the Samsung Mobile Website. Its a free download and it actually works pretty good. With the Phone Explorer feature you can upload files to your phone or download files to your computer and do it easily.

What the &#@% else useful... moreLike someone else mentioned, the Gravity is just a basic phone. Its meant for basically talking and texting. It has other features like stereo bluetooth, usb, memory card slot. All in all Its feature set is appropriate for a phone of it's price.
So therefor I disagree with the person who says its useless. For the people who just want to talk and text and don't want to blow a load a load of money on a phone whose features they don't need or will use, a phone like this will serve their needs well.
The bottom line is if you want a smartphone.....buy a smartphone. But don't expect to get smartphone features and capabilities for the price of a basic phone.
Its hard to criticize the Gravity when it can be had for next to nothing. Its a basic phone at a basic price.
