Gosh I really think that instead of boosting the megapixels in camera phones to make a larger picture they should concentrate on just making the picture crystal clear. I would much rather have a three megapixel phone that has a non blurry picture than have a eight megapixel picture that has the typical blurriness that all camera phones have.

Have you seen the other side of the phone? And, I mean... 8mp... that's nice.

Nice design and overall specs but the lack of wi-fi is something really stupid for a 2009 touchscreen device....

level_up, 06 Feb 2009I dunno...there seems to be an overkill of touchscreen phon... moreI agree with level_up and also with Anonymous (2009-02-06 10:51 4LRV ). I own two Sony Ericssons, one bought in 2006, one this year. Differences between the two aren't significant. I was going to buy a Samsung U600 (big screen, good camera, good audio qual, cheap card), but I've heard many complaints with the display and being a slim slider meant I had to be extra careful with it, but experience tought me it's possible to drop the phone by accident many times, so I chose a hopefully robust W810 (NOT for the Walkman brand!).
Not only Samsung, but ALL manufacters bring every year (even more often than that) a dozen new phones with no hardware changes, nor significant (mostly none) software changes, but with a new design.
--------------
I believe they should improve their software instead of investing in design. It would really make me happy, as a customer, if tomorow I find out, for instance, a new feature was added to my phone if I update the software. But sadly, that won't happen...
