Samsung T959 is the T-Mobile USA version of the Galaxy S

15 May, 2010

It's not the first time the Samsung T959 surfaces but now we don't get just the dry specs sheet but a video as well. And what is more important, this video proves that the T959 is actually the T-Mobile USA version of the highly popular Samsung Galaxy S.

What was known about the T959 so far is that the phone features support for Bluetooth v3.0. The Bluetooth SIG also mentioned that the T959 packs a 4" AMOLED touchscreen and runs TouchWIZ-ed Android OS.

According to the Wi-Fi Alliance website, the T959 also packs Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support. By the way, that is where we recently spotted two other Wi-Fi 802.11n capable Samsung phones that still wait for their official announcement too. Those are the Samsung I8330 and the Samsung I5500.

As for the T959 video we just mentioned, unfortunately, it has just been removed so you won't be able to enjoy it right now. However, its publisher confirms that this is the Galaxy S indeed so the mystery seems to finally be solved.

And while you're waiting for the Sasung T959 Galaxy S to be unveiled by T-Mobile USA, you could check out our Galaxy S preview and see what's all this fuzz about.
