Samsung teases round Gear S2 smartwatch for IFA announcement

Just minutes before today's Unpacked event wrapped up, we got a very interesting teaser - a round smartwatch with entirely new interface. It's the Samsung Gear S2.

Unfortunately the "one more thing" will be properly unveiled at IFA in Berlin on September 3. For now we just saw a glimpse of the all-metal Gear S2 and its new user interface.

From what we saw in the short video we know the Samsung Gear S2 will pack a heart-rate sensor and will be very much fitness-oriented. The icons look suspiciously familiar, but that's another topic.

The Gear S2 will go official in Berlin in less than three weeks, so the wait won’t be long.
