Samsung to bring One UI 7 Beta next week
Samsung will reportedly launch One UI 7 Beta next week. According to noted tipster Ice Universe, the update will start seeding on November 17 but will be limited to only two countries: South Korea and the United States.
The new interface is being prepped for an January 2025 launch. It should be seeded alongside the Galaxy S25 flagships, which will launch with stable One UI 7 out of the box. The rest of the Samsung portfolio should follow shortly after, but we have yet to hear anything official from the Korean company.
One UI 7 will bring new widgets, more functionality to the lock screen, and different app icons for some system apps. Another cosmetic change will be bigger notifications with rounded edges – it should make them more visible at the expense of less information on the screen, especially for those receiving notifications constantly.
