Samsung to release a Galaxy A phone with pop-up selfie camera

In collaboration with a reputable leakster @rquandt, Pigtou was able to obtain a set of renders depicting a Samsung Galaxy A smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera. Some basic specs are also in the report so here they are.

According to the leak, the smartphone will feature a display with around 6.5-inch diagonal, while dimensions are 160.9 x 77 x 9.2 mm. The back hosts a triple camera and a fingerprint reader, suggesting the display of the LCD variety and the scanner couldn't fit underneath.

Sadly there's no 3.5mm jack anywhere on the phone, which is still relatively rare on mid-range phones. The phone is allegedly coming in a couple of months so there's time to gather more info on it.

This is the kind of guy I am actually fighting against, they don't have any idea of how pop up work, they never experienced any and probably not even saw a single one in their life. There are almost no report on pop up failure, so far I only fou...

Those differences are what should be expected to change at different price points. I don't see your point here.

Slow and expensive? Then how does the 2019 mid-range price performance champ (k20) come with a pop-up camera? "China has stopped producing them". That also doesn't seem exactly accurate with the k30 pro/poco F2 showing off a popup
