hi i cannot wait for this phone/camera to be launched in south africa it is way cool and the specs are amazing good job samsung keep up the good work awesome!!!!

initially this phone is launched only in south korea BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS it will launch for the whole world early next year WITH Wi-Fi and GPS on board.

It's only the Korean version that won't have Wi-Fi as their has the TV option instead. Everyone outside Korea will get Wi-Fi and GPS so pllllllease, read before you whine!

It will have WI-FI and GPS, but we just have to wait for the version outside of Korea, that's the whole deal. Definetly the most interesting phone camera i've ever seen and pretty gadget.

You can make it twelve mp but a phone just cannot compete with an actual camera. And cellphone xenon flashes will not be as powerful as an actual camera flash either.

ok jus do one thing click a photo with any 5mp or 8mp cam with 10-12x zoom.... now click a photo with 12mp cam with same zoom n now compare the QUALITY!!!!!!!!!

Samsung is going CRAZY.. who the hell want to carry this around and make a phone call?? I would never buy this.. especially from Samsung. Only maybe if SE came out with a Cybershot 12MP yes but NOT from Samsung. Samsung makes worst phones and TVs..

Camera or phone? Think again since this phone is not a smartphone and if you guys looking for a camera than i think we can get a million times even better than this one out there without wasting much unless you guys have much and have no idea how to spend your money. Were looking for a phone.. Ops, a smarphone With good camera and not a camera with 7 years back phone functionality!

I honestly believe this will be niche, because people won't really want a massive camera sticking out of their phone. Take the Nokia N86 or SE W995, both cameras produce excellent results and the UI and features are all controlled onscreen without old-fashioned dials on the side. I know it's 12MPX, but this just means a gigantic photo and doesn't reflect on the quality.
