I am a bada OS phone (wave 8500) user for an year and i can say you, never ever go for bada os phones. Its limitation is, its not a refined OS. Nowadays, it has become fashion / trend to keep on increasing the processor power (from 300, 600, 800, 1 GHZ, 1.4 GHZ....... 15 GHZ and more in future?). Manufacturers like Samsung don't understand the fact that a simple upgradation of processor and ram will never do wonders in performance. Instead, they have to concentrate on developing and optimising their OS. See the iphone 3GS, which has very less hardware specs compared to currently traded rival brand models. Still, Say browsing, multitasking (believe you can open and leave even 25 applications and it will never give you a jerk even while scrolling the menu) , music, streaming, overall performance, iphone outperforms in all these operations and its due to the refinement in its OS.

AnonD-36329, 01 Jan 2012what do you mean??? i'm just buy this phone... n i'm not ... moreyou will suffer a lot for updates and apps. its not a mature os and will find bugs....for older bada devices bada promised to release bada 2.0 updates to be released by october 2011 but it delayed the update and was busy in launching new devices with bada 2.0 OS. after some months you will also be on the same stage where older bada device users are waiting for updates and watching new devices launched with the same new version of bada OS....wish you happy bada experience and supporting apps downloads!!!!

This phone Wave Y is great !!
Same price as Galaxy Y which is completely crap.
Better screen, better camera, better speed as Galaxy Y for sams price.
Bada OS is great for cheap phone like this one, who cares about Android, all i want is a simple cheap feature phone, and for that Bada is good.

i can suggest a few things to save battery. 1) Put off your sync when ever you don need it. it helps you preserve battery.
2)you can also put off auot update of application in the market. it helps bcuz it doesn sync your phone to the google server again and again.
3)close background applications when ever not required.
4)reduce your brightness when ever you done need 100% brightness. when ever youc are in a room o some tin.
5)put off your packet data connections when ever not required. Bcoz this is the one tat consumes most of your battery.
these will help you a lot. may need some extra time. but it help you save batttery

Bada is a whole flop OS by samsung. I am using samsung wave 525 running Bad(a) OS and totally dissatisfied with this whole shit OS developed by samsung. For about a whole year samsung bada was telling that Bada 2.0 upgrade will be for every bada mobiles but now its saying only high end bada devices will be upgraded to Bada 2.0 OS. samsung bada is a cheater and I will suggest you all not to loose your money in this shit bada device. Also Bada OS is not a matured OS it hangs a lot and now and then you will discover new bugs in this Bada OS.

dont perchase samsung perchase samsung bada phones.. even nver dream to buy bada phone.. its the worst os in whe whole universe.. & support from samsung is terrible.
i own a samsung wave525.. previously samsung annouced bada 2.0 for wave525.. but now they cancelled it.. samsung betrayed all wave users..

wave 2 is also upgradable to 2.0 version..
wave young sure rock to new people as wifi direct and hspa vtelephone is also good feature frm rear cam..
