Samsung will drop pre-loaded AR apps from Camera in One UI 7
Samsung is revamping the Camera app in One UI 7, and today, we learned one of the changes will be the removal of clutter. The app currently houses several AR apps, but starting with the next version of One UI interface, they will be standalone apps.
We are talking about AR Zone, which includes AR Doodle, AR Emoji Camera, AR Emoji Studio, and AR Emoji Stickers; Deco Pic and Quick Measure are also in the mix. All these applications will move away from Camera and will be free to download from the Galaxy Store.
We also got confirmation that AR Emoji will be rebranded to Galaxy Avatar.
All these AR features were initially introduced with the Galaxy S9 back in 2018 and were supposed to compete with Apple Animoji.

Finaly a good start. Whole samsung phones could start as a pure android experience with UI and Samsung apps as optional. Same could do other manufacturers even Apple. No app should be mandatory but all should be optional.
