Bought x150 yesterday. Reason: simple and very light-weight. Found out at home that the starting sound is horrific and the ringtones are pathetic. The starting up sound is not removable. Reason to give away the phone. A recent buyer

the code someone spoke of is : 00000000
8 X 0
Further,
i was wondering, how do you see how is calling without an outside screen?? and in it answers your call by opening the phone, how can you ignore someone how you dont want to speak to??

Pros:
extremely light-weight
quite good looks
nice color screen
Cons:
10 pathetic monotonic ringtones which are not only boring but irritating (dont know if they can be replaced)
No option to decide whether to use SIM memory or phone memory, for contacts.
Cant scroll down thru all the contacts like that in Nokia
Overall, a cheap and handy set for the price tag. wud have rated 'very good' if the ringtones were even slightly better or at least gave the option of replacing them.
there are no games, nothing. just fyi.

NICE !...lightweight and tiny
The only feature I cannot seem to figure out is HOW to set 'answer call', so that when opening the 'flap',one's not connected yet !
I want to open up,and be able to decide whether to answer.

I love this phone. I wanted my phone simply for communicating and this is just perfect. Light, elegant, stylish, great colours, no frills, very, very easy to use (I didn't even need to read my manual).
For the busy businesswoman who just wants to stay in touch, this is a fantastic phone. :)

i am planning to buy clam-type. considering x150 because its the cheapest around, looks good and simple. but i had bad experience with clam-type with samsung once, broke only after 6 months. the wiring inside the flipping are gets easliy broken since its flip type and we flip it always to use. SO anybody else had bad expeirnce with clam-type??

I bought this phone today (6th of the 4th 2006) and for a long time ive avoided phones because of all the kids my age (16) messing around with ringtones and the cameras and all of that crap a phone doesn't need. I hated that image. But this phone is perfect, the buttons arn't tiny, the numbers are easy to read, the screen is very clear, beautiful colour, great sophisticated design, and the menu is easy to read. There are NO FRILLS, its just a phone with sms. Its very light, too! Perfect. I love this phone.

My father couldn't read well enough from his nokia 1600 so we tried this phone. It's fantastically cheap considering the LCD screen is Samsung-sharp as ever. I did not expect the responsiveness and quality from a CSTN-screen, and its price was deceiving. This is definitely a good entry-level phone and you can depend on it rather well. The screen is really well-made. Try placing it beside a Sony Ericsson J210i and the difference is obvious, even though it's a CSTN type. You will have to make do with a monotone, which is quite ancient here in the Philippines. I'm trying to find out how to connect it to the outside world for now. If you don't use it for calling and messaging, it will be very boring. Bring your gameboy!

How boring a set can be?It does not even have other ring tones and games. The biggest flaw is mono phonic tones.I would have liked it if it was a few bucks expensive but had polyphonic tones... Very Very Very boring set.but only thing good abt it is it's display........boooooring

for what its supposed to do, ie: simple phone for sms and calling, light and small, easy to use, as second phone...and very affordable, i would say it hits the mark spot on.
i like its call records function and capable to store 1000 names:) what more could u ask for?
only minus is poor documentation. the factory password for anyone who wants to change the password for the first time is 00000000
