Mine is having the problem with year 2016, i can set it on 2015, also on 1999, but not in 1998 nor lower, neither 2015 and upper.
Valid range goes from 1-1-1999 to 31-12-2015.
Since year 2010 has only 28 days on Febrary, what can i do to fix the problem? easy, put and detonate a BOMB on Samsumg factories and offices (advising workers, but

I have exactly the same problem. Passed the 31/01/2014 I cannot set the correct date. It looks like Samsung didn't suppose the phone will be so durable ;)

I get "wrong number" when I try to go past Dec 31st 2014 in the calander (which I use a lot daily) and can't set the date either (shows Jan. 2nd this it's the 6th) and I get the same "wrong number".

AnonD-336066, 27 Nov 2014My mom bought this phone 8 years ago and it still works perfectlyI have one also, bought on January 2006. It worked perfectly until 12/31/2014. Starting with this New Year it can not recognize 2015 as a valid year.
Now I am waiting for a solution from Samsung.
