I was wondering what kind of cable you need to use to connect to a computer so that the pictures can be uploaded into it. Ive read about people buying the x640's cable but it not working and ive also read that people use other models cable and it works. Can someone please tell me if the x640 cable actually does work and if not, what phone cable will work to get picures into the computer. Also, what port on the phone would this cable go into? if you wanna transfer your pictures to your computer.........buy a better phone!!

Hey i was going thru the website,i dont think this phone has USB data cable support BUT it does have a PC Link Cable an an accesory,which u might get from the dealer or something,company even claims that it connects to the PC via a software PC Studio II or something.

I didn't know that tip with # - silent mode thanks, but anyone could tell me what I have to do TO TRANSFER PICTURES IN MY PC? PLEASE...

Hi, Just read thru some of the comments and common issues were about the external LED service light and the silent mode. I just got this phone and thought my experience would help!
1) LED: turn this off under PHONE SETTINGS (9)-> DISPLAY(1)-> SERVICE LIGHT(6) -> select "off".
2) open your phone to the default screen (ie. screen where u see wallpaper, not menu) and press and hold on the "#" button. silent mode, BINGO!
other than that, i've changed from the somewhat clunky k700i which, not being a clam shaped phone, made me reject calls involuntarily. so i love the design of this phone. the screen is a bit bright and would prefer a megapixel cam but...with this price u can't really get better!

I've read the comments below about the usb data cable problem and I begin to lose my hope:( I wonder why do they sell these things if they don't work properly. If someone is able to upload his x640 photos in the computer, let me know please...

Sue, I've seen your comment and let me tell you that it happens exactly the same with may usb data cable. I installed the program from the cd I found together with the usb, but it doesn't work. Maybe the operating system is not compatible, I guess. If someone knows the sollution to this problem, please post a comment about it. Thanks.

URGENT HELP REQUIRED!!!!PLEASE HELP
Can anyone tell me how to download photographs to a PC with this phone.I have bought a USB cable but all i has done is charge my phone up via the PC. I need my photos off the phone.
This is a great phone but i could do with a front screen & a lock on the side camera button. Takes great photos of the inside of your jeans pocket & handbags.

its a nice fone guys. the camera is good, but the calender feature is not upto mark as its got limited memory for storin bdays nd app. but the fone is quite a stunner in looks.

its a nice phone, i really like it. however i need to know how to upload the pictures to my PC. i have the data cable but i just cannot get the pictures uploaded. please help.

i have to agree a lot with some comments that people have made about this phone. ive had this phone for about a year and its working perfectly well! although there are a few things that are very annoying for example as mentioned before it always takes picture in my jeans pocket and if you drop it, it makes huge scratches immediately and the time and date blocks your picture on your wallpaper. its also annoying that theres no screen in the front but u get used to that. plus theres no bluetooth and you can only do voice recording not video but apart from that its very good!! x

i love this phone. but if ur a clumsy person like me who may just drop thier phones, i would not get this phone. because it scractes very easily and leaves very horrible marks. thank you!

heys, for all you people considering to get this phone. it is no doubt a great phone. i got it about 6 months ago. it has great memory photos clear, everythings sweet excpet for the fact that it doesnt have a LCD screen (a front screen) coz it gets annoying when i want to chek the time and i have to flip it open. espiecally in class. also the annoying fact that that time thing gets in the way of the majority of the photos i want to put onto my wallpaper. its a great phone.. but now i want a new one with an LCD. okays ta ta!

yeah u can turn off t9 if u desire to do so.
n to use caps press * and press * again to turn it off
