The phonr supports mp3 but the limit for mp3 is 95 kb.if the mp3 u want to upload in your phone is bigger than 95 kb it won`t accept it. it supports wallpapers.u can find on http://www.zedge.net/ free wallpapers speciall for samsung x660

when i bought the phone i was told its got true tones mp3 to my surprise it doesnt support true tones pls advise bcz im so dissappointed i like the phone very much & how do i download mp3 help

I will like to ask you few questions about samsung x660. I just bought it, and I can't believe that this telephone doesn't support wallpapers?? Or does it? I can't find any wallpapers anywhere. Maybe is that because I got this phone in set (I don't know how to explain this), this our operator is in cooperation with Vodafone so everything have Vodafons logo, symbol. Can I remove this icons so they can be like in normal Samsung – I mean the whole menu?

i read on the internet that this phone can play mp3s as ringtones but when i tried to send an mp3 on my phone it wouldn't accept it!!! elsewhere i read that the phone doesn't accept mp3 so which of the two is correct???

i have 2 samsungs a SGH Z 500 and one like this. this one is cool so dont dis it. it cant do everything. if anyone has any questions i can almost anwser all of them just send to WBR02-342@bluebottle.com

I have this phone for a while now.
i dont know how to deactivate the side botton, not to make pictures in my pocket.
Can someone tell me how to do that???

by the way the phone sucks, batery life time 2 days and all most 2 hours of talk time.

Hi, just bought this phone and am wondering about some format details:
Can you view the inbox messages to show one message a line, only the sender's name? Rather than the default view--sender name one line and first line of message the next.
I assume you can't make the overall font size smaller so you can see more on the smallish screen, yeah??
Also, when texting can you set the character limit to 160 for short/ standard length texts? Other phones have this basic feature.

Hi,
I really like this fone. It suites me very well. I just gotten the usb and the software for it. I installed the software, but I cannot transfer images, tones etc. from my pc to my fone via the usb. Did I do something wrong with the installation? Can someone please help me with this?

hi.my comment about this phone goes thus.u see when i use the voice recorder to record a sound,it suppose to be used as a ringtone but this feature as indicated in the leaflet unfunctional.i would like you guys to do something about that.thank you

i cant connect using infrared. what do you think?
second, the infrared function is for phonebook and calendar activities. you cant send mms thru infrared.

Hey..i have this fone..so far it has worked great even though i've dropped it lyk a MILLION tymsif u want it for fotos...its not that good unless u buy the usb cable..games are fun...sound is loud have reception all the tym..battery lasts lyk 5 days even when i have used it all the tym umm...it has a clear screen its a great fone for the price but if u want something flash go spend ya money for cheep asses lyk me BUY IT NOWWW

Dis is da crapest phone eva , don't buy it u will regreat it!!it only has a battery time of 1 hour if ur lucky. it stuff up all da time and da camera dosen't always work!!!
DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

please could anyone help me, Everytime I send a text message with this phone it plays a dramatic tone, i dont mind the tone when i recieve I just dont like the tone everytime i send too, Ive looked all around the settings and cant find anything that terminates the send tone, can anyone help?

hi guys,
i've gotten the infrared to work.
1.just download PIMS & File Manager, install.
2. open up the program, go to file > setup.
3. uncheck autodetect, and change the port to IrDA.
4. click ok.
5. activate infrared with pc, on the phone.
6. wait for it to be connected to the program.
7. click on the file manager.
8. go to my phone > down contents.
9. then click on the folder (image, video or sound) depending on what type of file you want to upload.
10. look for the file you want to upload, in the explorer dialog at the bottom.
11. single click it, then select the upload button (the one with the up arrow).
12. and your done.
good luck to everybody.
ps. the 95kb still applies.

but only 15 ringtones have inside ,not 40,

nice phone...the usb it's the same with the hands free thingy....you can ask your mobile provider for the wap settings so you can acces the internet...the main disavantage is the little time you can make a video...100kb...about 10-25 sec at sunlight and 35-40 at a darker place....
