hi, me have just managed to get mediafiles from the x660 to the pc. used pcb113bde(oem) usb data cable and software from the samsung webpage (Samsung PC Studio II 2.0 PIMS & File Manager). first several drivers and devices (the one from the cable install cd-rom included (Samsung Mobile USB Driver)) didnot work. desperately as last resort me tried to let windows connect to internet and automaticaly find drivers for three not properly working devices in device manager (samsung mobile usb device ii 1.0; samsung mobile usb modem ii 1.0; wmc acm). after those bein installed both programms (pims&file managerd and mobtime cell phone manager) can acces and transfer the mediafiles.
hope this can hlp at least some of u to deal with this pitiful mobile phone.

i've been using this phone since 2 years..
and its crappy...
if u r a music freak like me....
then pls i beg u don't curse urself by buying this phone...
this phone has got nothing to do with music....
it dosen't have an mp3 player dosen't have enough memory to save atleast one song...
moreover no radio too...
the camera quality eh..
don't ask...
nothing very useful about it....
useless phone....

when im o mxit i cant seem to abbreviate anything with out removing the dictionary first. and then my abbreviations do not get saved for next time. am i doing something wrong?

how do i transfer images & mp3 from phone to pc, pc to phone? which data cable should i buy? i heard that samsung D500, D600 cable is compatible with this cellphone.

i've been using this phone for about 2 years now. its very functional. calling, texting, calculating.. all those essentials
but for the entertainment, multimedia and other perks.. its bull.
i've owned it for about 2 years before i realized that i could actually put video wallpapers, or figure out how to make a nice ringtone
it can use mp3 for ringtone but you have to limit it to 99kb or else you won't be able to download it through the web. so the file has to be about 20secs short with the lowest kbps possible. but its good enough
infrared never worked. ever. even with another samsung phone. that frustrated the hell outta me.
memory for anniversaries/birthdays only upto 100. thats not even a fraction of the dates i wanna note down. but the calendar is useful enough.
if you change wallpapers too fast, the phone restarts. so you just have to wait a bit and reload the wallpaper
you cant connect to anything. you have to download using the web/gprs
well if you're looking for something that's simple enough..and i mean simple. like for calling, texting and something easy to keep, and very durable,.. well this is for you
its really boring but if you don't mind being boring enough..its very useful
i love my phone but im really frustrated with the lack of features.
if it had an FM radio and bluetooth i'd be fine. i guess its time to buy the x670. hahaha
the only thing entertaining me with this phone is that i can use it to play soccer and throw it around and its still in one piece and working like its brand new.
i wonder when im gonna get a nice new phone? anyone wanna trade? haha

I have this phone for nearly a year now!!
But i unfortunetely think i did the wrong choice because it has so manyyy problems!!
The only thing i love in this phone is that it fell a huge number of times and its still working!!!! :P:P Now i`m buying the nokia 7373-which has so many features and is simply LOVELY!! :)
