@ahsan:yes you can send files via bluetooth to other cells like nokia,SE,moto etc. video is good, never had a chance to compare it with k700/6230
the quality of mp3 is excelent, speakerphone is great but not loud enough when you're in crowded place

1. x700’s bluetooth can transfer files to nokia SE and other brands or not?
2. is it very efficient in file receipt and transfer to other brands??and what about PC?
3. is its movie better than 6230/SE K700?

Hey Neutrals (not Samsung fanatics)!
I need some expert help to make a decision about this fone or Nokia 6230i/ SE W550i
The price factor, I know above mentioned nokia and SE r a lil more expensive, but they r worth it. I sold a nokia 6600 recently and want to buy one of the mentioned 3 (I like x7’s design over 6230i, SE W550). is Samsung which is priced around 13500 in pak worth its money??
1. Camera. What is its zoom? 4x?
2. how do pics look on PC (comparable wid nokia 6630/6230i/SE W550i)
3. I know pic quality good ,but no night mode??
4. how is the video quality? I hear its pathetic and “Below average?”. I mean honestly tell whether it is comparable with Nokia 6230i/6630 video?? It is smooth enuff and sharp enuff?
5. is there zoom option in video recording??
6. is sound better that 6230i?
7. Does the fone play MPEG 4. Please confirm this if u r very sure, coz the big sites seem confused themselves.
8. Can we play Dictaphone recordings as tones??
9. how about connectivity?? Does bT work as well with Nokia SE other brands as wid Samsung it self. How does it work wid PC?
10. I heard cant send videos made thru this fone to Nokia SE other brands via BT. Is it really true??
11. How is the Radio quality? Is its reception good while moving?
12. does it have loudspeakr option in calls?
13. does it give any signal problems.coz signals quite hard to catch in my village, where I need to go time and again.

I bought the phone a month ago and i have to say that the battery sucks, it lasts tops 48hrs with an average of 1hour communication. Just wondering if anyone has this problem or if i have a defective battery. Otherwise really happy with the phone.

@ roobi: no you can't control your computer, yes the sound is loud (it has 2 stereo built-in speakers mine goes harder than my sister's K750i. I don't know codes :).
@ cy: yes that is normal. An accu is never 100% full, i have never had a phone that did not have this problem.

I just bought a x700 phone. I notice right after i charge the battery full (the battery icon show full bar), i plug out the charger and plug it back, the battery is re-charging again from the start. Is this normal ?
If the battery is already fully charged, why it is re-charging again ?

I have a question!
If you have bluetooth in your computer, can you use your x700 to controll your computer, like music players, etc... Kind of like a remote controller for your computer!!
Sonyericssons later models can, and I wondered if this phone could.
Also I wonder, is the sound from the player loud... 'Cause my sgh-z500 plays so low, it is unbelievable! I know Sonyericsson's play really loud, and would love if this phone could play loud too
And a last one... Can you put password for your messages and pictures like my sgh-z500?

I have asked the customers service about the maximum size of the TransFlash/MicroSD expanishion-slot. Today i received the answer: it accepts all transflash/microSD cards that are [b]one[/b] gigabyte or lower. So 2gb cards will not work.

256mb is really way more than enuf for me...let alone 2gb. unless your are not planning to transfer anything to the pc. and my battery can last at least 3 days.

i hear tat memory limit for x700 is 2GB not 256MB.......Y stil got many guy say memory limit for x700 is 256MB...... is it malaysia version is different from other country????

comparison of x700 and L7 as 1)x700 got 1.3mp camera while L7 has vga.(2)don even consider talking of screen quality.x700 s the best in market.(3)x700its got internal memory 30 mb.(4)picture quality SOOOOOOOO good(5)its costs nealy sameas L7.I got with bill and warranty for 11800.l 7is slightly lesser.got t at shekar emporium in kodambakkam.(8)its got an FM but its reception s not very good.specially when travelling(9)L7 comes with 128mb mem but x 700 comes with 64.accessing memorycard s bit faster in l7 but x700 s way faster when in phonememory.(10)video recording is not bad but in dark you cant see a damnthing not tat L7 s any better in this regard(12)dual speakers way better in x700(13)L7 looks soooo sexy.its got a lot of snob value which x700 does not.(14)you can do other work when listening to MP3 in L7 but cant in x700.ITS VERY ANNOYING specially when FM s not the best.(15)messagin s a breeze in X700 harder in L7(16)navigation s faster and easier inx700(17)listening in earphones s also better in samsung(18)feel of L7 s better.it feels more solid in hand AND WILL SURELY TURN HEADS WHEN IN DARK..it has the razr effect(19)speakers not bad.w550 still leads in all sound depatment.(20)u cant get more than 256 mb for x 700 while 512 is the limit forL7.. and both cost same amount..samsung memory card s expensive for lesser,infact half the memory...
