    whts d limit of video recording....and wts d best setting fr doing soo...i read jst nw..tht u cnt record it on the extended memory card...thn hw lng wil mere 35 mb card wil record...?
    my 3 gp videos aint as much clear as the the video wch i gt in the phone frm b4...
    y?and hw to make videos tht clear..

        09. Bluetooth headset Compatibility:
        W800: Have A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile).
        N3250: No A2DP Profile , means you cannot use bluetooth headset for listening music files.
        X700: Have A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile).

        10. Internet Usage:
        W800: GPRS Class 10, WAP 2.0/xHTML but no EDGE. Video streaming (mpeg4/3gpp).
        N3250: GPRS Class 10, WAP 2.0/xHTML, EDGE Class 10. Video streaming (mpeg4/3gpp). Also has Web browser with RSS web feeds.
        X700: GPRS Class 10, WAP 2.0/xHTML, EDGE Class 10. No video streamimg.

        11. Supported File’s Formats:
        W800: mp3,aac,aac+,eaac+,midi,wav,amr,mp4,m4a,3gpp,jpg,gif,bmp,wbmp,png,xmf,svg-t.
        N3250: mp3,aac,aac+,eaac+,midi,wav,amr,mp4,m4a,3gpp,jpg,gif,rm(real media audio/video files),wma.
        X700: mp3,aac,aac+,eaac+, midi,mmf,smaf,amr,mp4,m4a,3gpp,jpg,gif,png.

        12. Softwares Support:
        W800: J2ME (MIDP 2.0 / CLDC 1.1), 3D graphics
        N3250: J2ME (MIDP 2.0 / CLDC 1.1), 3D graphics. Applications developed for previous symbian OS cannot work with N3250. Wait till compatible versions are available. For running programs, system ram of 32MB available. After loading programs, still about 20MB free for playing 3D games,other tasks. You can install third party softwares directly into memory card also.
        X700: J2ME (MIDP 2.0 / CLDC 1.1)

        13. User Interface:
        W800: Similar to K750i with improvements (much faster than N3250)
        N3250: Based on Symbian OS 9.1 (v 3), UI identical to N70/6680, more faster than previous versions but still slower response than W800 / X700.
        X700: Based on RTK operating system (ARM9 Series ) same as D500 / D600 have.


        14. Prices till Now:
        W800: 18,200
        N3250: 18,500
        X700: 9,500

            video recording is directly to phone memory instead of card memory therefore there are limitations remember this is not digicam to record directly to card memory.
            but to move video files from phone memory to card memory it hardly taken 50-60 seconds just move video file and then shoot again

              I m using samsung x700 with a memory card 512mb microSd. I cannot store video in memory card while doing video for a long time. pls advice.

                Heyy Hill thanx for ur comments.Now my phone's mp4s are running very smoothly and are very clear then previous.BUt the video bitrate format is exactly 142 kbps. Thanx once again hill.

                    Its been week...and i am happy wid the phone..
                    though i m fed up wid the batery..i aint doing much still it lasting only 1.5 days...

                    video recording aint tht clear..cn i know y?
                    the recording is also nt done in full screen....i thought videos cnt b played in full screen bt cnt evn b recorded???

                    and hill cn u also send me some gud gufs images to setup as wwall paper....most of the wall papers i m having..dnt gt to ful screen..so it looks odd wid white lines either side of wall papers...

                      Here is the comparision b/w Samsung X700 , SE W800i , Nokia 3250…… Let’s starts:

                      01. Phone Size / Display:
                      W800: (100 x 46 x 20.5 mm) / 256K TFT screen with 176 x 220 pixels. (Weight : 99g)
                      N3250 : (104 x 50 x 19.8 mm) / 256K TFT screen with 176 x 208 pixels. (Weight : 115g)
                      X700 : ( 108 x 44 x 19 mm) / 256K TFT screen with 176 x 220 pixels. (Weight : 95g)

                      02. Memory:
                      W800: Internal 38MB shared , External 512MB MS DUO card included (upto 4GB supported) Hot Swap.
                      N3250: Internal 10MB shared , External 128MB microSD included (upto 1GB supported) Hot Swap.
                      X700: Internal 35MB shared , External 64MB microSD included (upto 1GB supported) Hot Swap.

                      03. Start Up:
                      W800: Ask whether start phone or start Music Only. When using Music only option, other phone’s functions will be disabled like phonebook, messages etc
                      N3250: Very slowly startup ( in about 30 seconds)
                      X700: Comparitively fast startup.

                      04. PC Connectivity:
                      W800: No standard support for USB mass storage function. Use pc suite software /File Manager/drivers for file transfer.
                      N3250: Having standard USB mass storage function. Also one can use Windows media player 11 from PC ( for wma files) or Nokia pc suite for files transfer through usb cable.
                      X700: Having standard USB mass storage function. Also one can use Samsung PC Studio 3.0 Software through usb cable.

                      05. Playing Media Files:
                      W800: Excellent mp3/video player with very high quality stereo sound and good equalizer. You can play music files even phone is switched off. W800 plays full screen video and can be minimised. Support of 3.5mm jack for third party headset.
                      N3250: Excellent mp3/video player but quality less than W800. It plays full screen video and can be minimised. Support of 3.5mm jack for third party headset.
                      X700: Good mp3 player but support only one playlist. It cannot play full screen video and cannot be minimised. No support of 3.5mm jack.

                      06. Battery Life:
                      This is the result when playing mp3 files using company’s own headphones in full volume.
                      W800: 13 hours
                      N3250: 10.5 hours
                      X700: 8 hours

                      07. Camera Quality:
                      W800: Best of this class with 2MP camera with flash.
                      N3250: Even 2MP camera but loses against N70’s camera and certainly less quality than W800.
                      X700: 1.3 MP camera without flash.

                      08. FM Radio:
                      W800: Saves upto 20 channels having RDS (radio display system) and can be minimised.
                      N3250: Saves upto 20 channels having “visual radio” and can be minimised.
                      X700: Saves upto 30 channels and can be minimised.

                            1.loading time is quite good
                            2.picture quality is good
                            3.compatible with all email sites,popular sites
                            4.download limit is 1024 kb
                            5.edge phone therefore high speed browsing
                            *-ve-
                            1.streaming audio/video is not supported
                            2.blogging is very problematic.
                            some blog sites dont work
                            3.if you are download junkie then 1024 kb limit would be irretating
                            opera:-
                            +ve-
                            1.can open any site just like in pc
                            2.browsing speed is very good
                            -ve-
                            1.use wap browser's download manager to download files
                            2.having some bugs
                            finally internet experience is really good
                            is i have mentioned above many sites works on both browsers.
                            i am not yahoo freak i am google fan all google services runs just fine inclusing google images

                              how has been the Internet performance at X-700?

                              (hill, i know you did answer this question, but i have few more concerns!) :-)

                              can we reach websites such as gmail, yahoo!,photos, google etc easily on the phone?

                              i am a big time internet user on the cell-phone so this is one of my core concerns!

                              can we easily glance images on this phone, that appear as search results etc! esp. google images and yahoo! photos.

                              please let me know.

                                    #video post processing:-user defined -16.50
                                    #interoperability-3gpp ,aac
                                    #image processing-clear display dimension check cropping or resizing.then setup
                                    qcif(176*144),bicubic high quality .clear constrain properties
                                    #video encoding -150 kbps codec-mpeg4
                                    adaptive framerate-full. quality -high quality
                                    #audio encoding-
                                    audio bitrate-48 kbps
                                    audio codec-aac
                                    channels-stereo
                                    sample rate-8000(very important)
                                    now you can get best quality at medium size.size is bit larger than normat 3gp but you will get high quality 3gp.if you want less size then use values given in tutorial.

                                      can you post comparison between x700,nokia 3250,sony ericsson w800/800i.i desire to buy w800 but price is too much .can you mention the lowest price of w800.i have to wait till w800 will be available for 12000-13000.but it is too hard to wait for w800.i want information about phone response speed and bugs in w800.i am die hard fan of w800.but for now it is just dream i am waiting for your comparison
                                      3250 is also good although phone response is not good and all other features are great java application speed is just awesome
                                      please post comparison between these three outstanding phone.although i dont like nokia phones 3250 is first nokia which i liked very much
                                      my preffered ranking is
                                      1.sony ericsson w800i
                                      2.nokia 3250

                                        OK, i tried to search for some software to convert the video files but they dont work on the fone. Mr.Hill if it is not to much could u direct me to a specefic software if it is not too much.
