To hill:
I have some questions for you:
1. when using airtel live profile, which site you can access in opera mini? Are you be able to open www.google.com on opera mini when using this profile?
2. Have you found any active connection error when trying to access any site in opera mini using mobile office profile?
3. Try to install some other softwares which requires internet access like “Reference” software from wap.getjar.com and see if this software can access internet successfully or not. If not, then it means that java server is not configured correctly. Because if you can open sites on your wap browser then opera must work fine.

Usman can u tell me comparitively iz L7 better or X700(im lookin for a phone which can easily be hidden)

No, it is'nt possible to watch your pictures or video in full screen mode, that's an disadvantage, BUT it stays an excellent phone.

before posting read previous posts.in this forum many times i have mentioned that this phone doesnt play full screen video

do not play with settings because this is dangerous because you can get good performace with settings but these can be really harmfull for your x700
no any files can be executed like jar,jad,
sis,txt.

plz.. Can anyone explain every feature under h/w test ussing code *#8999*8378#

and also in other files folder.. there is an option called execute.. whic all files can be executed under this option.. will *.sis files work??

You can download latest PSM Player 5.0 from http://www.ijunoon.net/ringtones.asp
This is english version.
You can download latest ringtones from above site also.
X700 supports mmf, midi, mp3 ringtones.

To all: you can increase volume of ringtones by using PSM Player software. I am using version 5 on xp. It also converts mmf into midi files. After increase volume, transfer ringtone to x700. You can also make vibrating mmf ringtone by this software.

now, open above bookmark from wap browser. Then click to open “post your opinion” link. Same page will be displayed as you see on PC. Select text box and write your opinion in it and click “submit” button. If you got errors like “ request time out” or “ connection to server is lost” means your net connection have problems. Try again till you succeed.
If you have problems using opera mini, check java settings ( APN ,user ID, password, DNS1, DNS2) . Some service providers set these automatically. Every isp has different java settings. Please contact airtel team to solve this problem.
I really don’t know about airtel live, but I guess that by using this profile , one can only access to airtel own sites.
My service provider does not allow me to download larger files…..

Thank you very much for your information. I gained valuable information about X700 from you, usman, and some others.I am really greatful to all of you friends.

X700 BETTER THAN SE IN PLAYING AAC FORMAT.
In SE forum - mobile4arab - I read a complain that SE is not playing aac format, so I downloaded that aac music file to the X700 and to the N70 and both plyed the file. Then I took the file to SE k750i, but wasn't able to play it. X700 is really great.

hey just look at the size of x700 dou you really think that this is a bulky device if you think so take a look at 6600,6630,6681.i think that samasung x700 maintains ideal shape a perfect corporate look

x700 can play mp4 quite well like 3gp files. if you have read previous posts if you are following these steps srictly then you can get smooth mp4 playback.i am not able to post opinions from wap browser plese give steps in detail
hey and can you please solve this problem whenever i select airtel live profile in gprs then in opers it shows gprs is working.b
but when i select mobile office then opera shows gprs is not working but i can open sites in wap browser .and please tell me procedure to download more than 1 mb files.
whwenever i use airtel live then i can open only two sites. but in mobile office i can open each and every site.please tell me why?????

Well found this model to be rather long as compared to other standard ones, but i appreciate this model cause it has many good features like FM radio, card slot, etc...what kept me dowm is that there r no profiles. u cant have ur phone ringing and vibrating at the same time. also the ringer volume even though being at the highest notch cannot be heard well if you are in a different room. thanks nirav bombay india
