Samsung X830 - User opinions and reviews

I'm wondering if I can purchase this phone because I was told that it is a phone for ladys!?:D
What do you think? As a man, can I use daily this phone(I'm using now a Nokia 6233)?
About the phone I can say that I really like its design and I think I can be satified by its features!
I am expecting some answers for my questions! Thanks!

If I want to check if I missed a call or had an sms, the only option I have is opening the swivvel, so I see no envelope or other icon if the display is off. Is this normal?

this phone is amazing small and cute! it has most of the features that you need except for the SPEAKERPHONE... this phone would have been perfect if it had a speakerphone... it plays music without the earphones but there is no speakerphone... i wish they came out with the BLUE and GREEN color here in the US. Other than that this is such a cute phone, attracts a lot of attention and very noticeable!

Both my self and my daughter has this phone since end of dec and both are in perfect condition.Can be a bit fidgety when putting charger in but i love it only problem ive had is that like many others i cant here my text messages so have to keep checking my phone.I hope this helps you with your query.

was just wondering.. doesn't the phone break easily? im going to buy one tonight hopefully off of the carphonewarehouse website but still.. im nervous incase it breaks easily. oh is the camera good or is it pretty blurry rubbish? PLZZZ someone get back to me reeally soon plz or just reply a comment on this?

I love the phone...only two problems...the ringtones are not loud enough and I don´t know how to personalize the sms sounds...only prebuilt ones are available. Any ideas?

I don,t agree at all!
I love the phone, and not only for its looks.
Someone asked if you could answer the phone when its closed, and Yes you can.
When you use the stereobluetoothheadset, you just have to push the button on the headphone and then you speak with someone without using the phone.

This has to be one of the worst phones ever made! It has a ringing level that even superman would have trouble hearing. The only up sides to this phone is that it looks great and comes with 1GB storage inbuilt which isn’t enough to warrant the cost of this phone. Avoid this phone at all costs.

I used to have the Nokia 7380 and LOVED IT. Unfortunately that phone was stolen and after a couple weeks of going back and forth I decided to give the X830 a try. This is a GREAT phone and I am very happy with it so far.

if you go on settings press select then message tonetone comes up myns message tone 4 then pressthe circle wheel thing in middle and has a list for text message tones then go on alert type pick tone or vibrate then repetition i have myn on every 2 mins this is how you change tone cant figure out how to put own tones in for text messages.

Got this phone in wed a few days ago, apart from a very low ringtone sound its ace!
Looks nice, works well and very easy to use!
Texting is amusing but weird!!!
Wish I could change txt message tone however from the norm......
