Try by switching from Mobile mode to Desktop mode and video will work. Open You Tube application, go to setting and click Desktop. It has worked for me and hope it will work for you.

I am also facing problem in my samsung z1 of youtube not playing video and i am just hearing audio. This problem started after down loading updates on 5th feb 16.How to solve it.

I have a report about a bug .yesterday i updated my z1 tizen 2.4.0.2 .after updating when i open youtube and played a video . its dont show video playing . just i can hear sound of the played video . Please fix this bug.
