Flaming_Medussa, 10 Oct 2008I already activate my phone(SMART provider) But why is that... moreI have also activated my gprs but I cannot surf the web. When I call the called the customer service representative to sent me wap setting to enable me to connect to the internet she said that they dont have available setting for wap only setting for mms/gprs.She advise me to contact globe service center ( my sim is touch mobile) for the activation of the service. I have not done this yet.

This phone is nice. But it is very hard to text. I mean it takes forever just to send one text. It should havce been a whole lot easier. But I guess other than that the phone is really nice.

Hi all. I've bought my Z170 today.
How long should I charge this phone for the first time?4 hours or 6 hours?Should I empty the battery which is usually left for new phone first?
I asked that 'couse there were many different suggest from the store even the technician+different brand told different suggest too.
please help me.

i bought this phone about a month ago ... it's a really nice phone: it has a cool design, a really nice intuitive menu and some pretty good functions.
my opinion is that it could use a bigger display for it's size and would have been cool if it was multi tasking but apart from that i guess samsung did a very good job designing this phone.

how do i delete the voicemail icon?
and make the player work while i use other features on this phone?

anyways, just visit your phone's service provider (SMART) to activate your GPRS/MMS

just dunno what will happen if i put a 4GB microSD on this one...

Hubie, 05 Oct 2008Can any1 tell me, up how many Gig can this phone expand to????tnxm using 2GB and its working well still no problems encountered. its a great phone a lot of features very handy the mp3 sounds like ipod i can do my friendster and check my emails frm time to time.

If you lock the fone and hold it between ur flat hands long ways and push the back of with your hole hand it will come of quite well.
