i like z300 but mine has a problem with time and alarm. Time runs sometimes late, and even when runs ok the alarm does not work properly. i wonder if there is a solution.

i bought the phone 3 days ago and till now im enjoying every second of it.
i have only one problem: GAMES...
how can i d/l to the phone Java Games???

Hi!
Pleas help me! I've just bought this phone and I love it but there are three things I'm wondering about! 1: after I put my pin code it takes a while to turn on, is this normal? 2: when people send me messages that exceed the limit of 1 message I recieve the messages separately, that never happened with my nokias, I always recieved them as one long message only, can i change this on samsung? Also, is it possible to change the blue on the bars and stuff of the screen?

does anyone know if there is a flash available for use on Cingular 850mhz band? OR will this work on Cingular UMTS that will be rolling out later this year...?

Hi!
This may be a stupid question but could anyone tell me if the z300 has the flash animations that you can use as wallpapers like the z140 has? I have a Nokia 3650 and I'm thinking of buying Samsung z300 as my next phone, would you recommend it?

Yes it's normal, mine does that to. Alarm also isn't working well, most of the time it doesn't work at all, (a known samsung bug) in fact I think it only works when plugged to the charger. There are only 2 things I don't like, batery life doesn't last much, if you watch many videos on the phone you may have to charge it every day, and the other thing I don't like is that it's not possible to upload java games on it from your pc. I've searched everywhere with no luck. Other than that I LOVE it. Video quality is superb if you upload a movie with a good bit rate and a fast frame rate (25/29.97 fps). To bad pc studio has a video file size limited to 6Mb

hi i bought the samsung z300 but i cant reaaly find were to change the ring tone for the sms can anyone tell me pls ? another thing when i close the mobile the front lcd pic or clock goes away and the digital clok on top remains. is it normal ?

i wish i can help you but i dunno as well, i been research on this 2 hp for quiet a long time, but still in the same situation as you, considering between z300 and z500, what i found out between z300 and z500 is more or less are same, but z300 got camera flash and z500 doesn't have, this is the problem that bothering me, coz i like z500. bcoz the design is nicer than z300. i am very confuse now, sigh, why samsung do this thing to ppl. lol

About the ALARM this option is not working and it is strange because this is a 3G phone, that don't have an option to turn on automaticly when is turned off?
About Z500/Z300?
Z300 has dual speaker and a bigger screen, it has a flash for the camera. Z500 is smaller and looks better but i think that for that zise , Smasung had to "damage" things like reception and the smaller screen that is useless for a 3G model

I am trying to make up my mind about wish phone to buy, I am between samsung Z300 and Z500 I have tried to compared them, read a few opinions about them but it is steal unclear, can anyone help out and give an opionion if you know about wish would be better.. I appreciate it alot. :)

I need HELP!
It is a very good phone but i have a problem with the alarm function. I've read in some reviews that this phone turns on automatically if its switched off and an alarm is set. However my phone can alarm only if its switched on. A review told that it is up to a user to indicate in the settings whether the phone would turn on automatically in the time of the event or not, but where?? I can't find such menu point.
Please help me!!

to the person below: im sure the pictures on this site is of z300. get ur facts rite. do u really think the ppl here wudnt have noticed the mistake all this time?

this is a great phone.
great display
great sound
the sofware is stable, a bit ...limited but it is good.the internal memory is very good.
batery is it a bit "quickly dier"..run out to fast
mp3 sound it is just fantastic
camera is very good, with a lot of adjustments ( iso "100-800" brightness, matring spot, wite balance.. etc)
video is normal,
the antena its not so good as nokia internal antenas. this phone if doesnt have the entire network gets a bit ...ploc..ploc..ploc..ploc.
the second display its funny.
the second camera is very good to. much better than nokia 6600.
and thats all!
