i'd like to know the same thing as 'T' cus i've got a 2 gb micro sd card but doesnt seem to work in this phone, is it the card i have or is it that the phone doesnt support it

i have a d600 and love it.
i just want to know 2 things one can you change the message tone on this one to any downloaded mp3s and what is better about this one than the d600?

I personally wouldn't recommend the Z500. I had that before I got this Z400. Z400 takes good pics 2MP. Z500 is 1MP and you have to charge every night as battery life is pathetic. I too, like the looks of the D900 but I think I'm going to wait for the new Z720 when it comes in the shops. Hope that helps you!

at the mo, unsure whether to get this or the samsung d830. I prefer the d900 but too expensive. So which one is the best out those two d870/z500. I like the design of the D830 but also this design. Which phone has the better games or camera etc. tHANKS

I can't see what all the fuss is about regarding no TV out function. How often are you likely to use that? If you use that, then buy a camcorder! This phone is great. One function that would have been nice on this phone is a radio but after all, it's a phone that takes good pics and seems reliable so that is the main thing. So please stop moaning about tv out. This phone doesn't have so accept the fact.

don't buy this phone, this is very common and ugly, no tv-out. samsung z710 is out now and it would be the most beautiful mobile phone in the world ever as of october 2006.complete all features : 3.2 megapixel, tv-out, 3g . i like tyhe tv-out function co'z the resolution is like a VCD.
Not everyone can afford a phone as good as that it may sound amazng but it will be very expensive.

Your right this phoine is better the style of this phone is nice and it's only £170 on pay as you go. Plus the z400 features are not brilliant and the phone at the back looks well wide.

The Z350 is 1.3mp and Z400 is 2 mp camera. I like my Z400. Had it for a couple of months now. Good camera even though it doesn't have a flash.

whats the difference between the z400 and the z350. I wnet on a site new mobile and it came up that the z350 is new but it never said that for the z400 and they look virtually the same.

I was being serious I think the D860 Is far more stylish than the Z400. The Z400 just lokks like a copy of the d500/d600. from Bec

Sorry to dissapoint you guys but there is a better phone out there. The Samsung D830.
Advantages
The design is way nicer and not the standard d500/d600/z400 design
It has flash which means you can use it at night
The phone is much slimmer
disadvantages
Maybe bit more expensive not too sure
Battery life not so good but still worth getting
Keypads bit small but the design is different and worth getting
I'm so glad I spotted this one it looks way better then the z400. If you haven't seen it then you really must check it out.

whats wrong with the phone? is it a boring one that has not got much features. I couldn't get it anyway until I get a job and save up but then a better one will come along.

I've taken a long time to make up my mind which phone to upgrade to after having a samsung E710 for two years ( which incidently never let me down )so I finally settled for the Z400 last week, and after my initial excitement with it's looks and features, was plunged into the depths of dispair when the battery ran out after what seemed like no time at all ! I contacted vodafone to enquire if there was a larger battery as I noticed that the phone had what was called a STANDARD battery fitted, but was told that no alternative one was availble!! However I was told that when not using the 3G facility I should reset the phone to GSM ( in network settings )which I've noticed does actually increase the battery life moderately, but still requires charging every couple of days.
I love the phone but It's like having a jag with a mini engine and so i'm seriously considering returning it within my 14 day trial period for something with a bit more beef.

Are the features good enough on this phone. Meaning it won't make you get bored of playing around with it easily. Are you able to have your mp3 song as your ringing tones cheers.
