This is not available on PAYG till next month I think it is. You can buy on e bay for around £200 plus. It's a brill phone.

The video resolution is 176 x 144. Pictures are very good quality. The movement during video playback is good, not real jerky like some phones I've used. The zoom function isn't smooth as it does move in stages but normal video capture is fine. I'm happy with my Z400. Far, far superior to the Z500.

we really disappointed this z400. in the exhibiton, there was a tv-out function, after then of the release, they remove the tv-out which is very essential to attract buyer. this is phone is very coomon. i prefer moto v3x or samsung z500. very disappointing. sure, it will not hit in the market.

This is not available yet as PAYG only on contract but you can buy them on e.bay ranging in price from £185 to £240.

instead of the bog standard tones for messages i would like to use the facility where i can upload my own mp3's etc to use as a message tone???

i am thinking about upgrading to this fone on my contract. does anyone hav any useful advice?? is it gd? is it worth havin for 12-18 months? can any1 reccomend a better fone thats around at the min or one tht u no is comin out soon????

I've just bought this mobile this morning and she's a little beauty! I'm a huge fan of the D500 but I've been wanting a 3G handset to use with my Vodafone sim. I've been testing it out for a few hours and upto now I'm very happy. The 2MP camera takes superb pictures, even without the flash. What I do like is the fact it takes my 256MB memory card so I've got loads of MP3's on now. The menu system is slightly different to the D500 but still typical Samsung and texting is easy too. Sizewise, the Z400 is a fraction bigger than D500 but it is also thinner than D500 and feels lighter in your pocket. I have put it on a long charge for it's first charging so I'll see tomorrow how the battery life is. I sold my 3G Z500 due to poor battery life so I'm hoping this Z400 will be a major improvement. A brill mobile, well done Samsung.

good size, full of spec and really nice. User friendly and let's not forget it's a samsung!!! What i was wondering is, does it come in different colour or limited edition???

Thanks nEKA, got the phone yesterday, so far so good! Seems easy to navigate, and buttons are responsive,although I think it helps to have small fingers!

WHY SAMSUNG SUCKS! It doesn't matter what product they offer, Samsung will not stand behind the cheap chinese knock offs they produce. If you buy a Samsung product and it is DOA out of the box, you have to pay the shipping to send it back to Samsung just for then to talk with you. This comes from the Office of the President, Ruth Rembis "Customer Care Center." You may save a little money on the Korean garbage, but you could easily lose the whole bundle if it goes bad.

caz its a great phone get it but i wouldnt get anymore the a 12m contract but has gotta be one of the best phones around at the mo

Am thinking of getting this, but am rubbish at decisions. Anyone got any more info on the "rubbish" keypad? Is the lack of flash a problem? Does the battery life improve?!! Don't want to get stuck with a no-good phone for 16 months..HELP!!

Well for a company that suck and dont change there phones much. They have wone phone of the year 3 years running. Not bad for a crap company eh>
IMO samsung phone's built quality is the best in the field

All Samsung products suck. No matter how defect the item is, how poorly it is made, Samsung will charge you shipping to get their junk fixed. Go elsewhere. They don't believe in their products, neither should you.
