Hi Guys!
I got this phone as a gift. The phone is good. But too bad video plays in small screen. Mp3 and picture quality is good. Camera is also fine. Too bad it has a branded firmware. Can anyone please tell me where can i get an unbranded firmware in English. If anyone can please help me out. Thanks in advance.

very nice looking phone,stylish.Slide mechanism is smooth.Good 2mpx camera but useful only for photo shoots,video is not so good unless you plan to watch it only at your phones display. Not easy to keep it clean cause even if you think to touch it you'll leave a fingerprints all over it.Mms and 3g are very likely not available if your company doesn't supports i-mode phones. I was able to set only the parameters for internet but not for mms and 3g.

I think this phone is disgraceful i had it for about 4 months and then it just turned off i had to take it back for repair 4 times please do not get this phone it is not worth its money

hey friends i want some honest opinions from users.i am now using a sony ericsson phone and i loved it.
but this time i want a stylish phone with a good camera, good music and better battery life.it seems this phone fulfils my requirements with its reasonable price...
so anyone plz tell me whether this is a phone worth buying keeping in my requirements..

does anyone know how to trun off the ascending ringtone feature?
i cant figure it out. on incoming calls it plays quiet first 2 seconds that goes to your preffered volume.
please help!

It was difficult for me to connect with internet although I called customer service of the network to adjust the phone settings for wab but useless. I want to know if imode is used by all networks as same as wab? my Email is faroukko@yahoo.com

Samsung have announced their new phone which is due to come out in December or early next year. The Samsung SGH-Z650i is a Tri band GSM phone plus it supports the UMTS 2100 Mhz network. The phone weighs about 94 grams and measures close to 102 x 52 x 16 mm.
The Samsung SGH-Z650i is a pretty nice looking slider phone and is decent in size too. It is not too thin nor is it too thick, just right I may say! The Samsung SGH-Z650i comes with a microSD card slot, which can take cards upto 2GB in size. The handset also has a good 2 mega pixel camera which can take photos at 1600 x 1200 pixels.
Along with these whole host of features offered by the phone there is something special which other phones don’t have, which is the Stereo Bluetooth. The stereo Bluetooth allows you to listen to music on Bluetooth headsets in both your ears! Other features that add to this phone is a Mp3/AAC player, iMode browser, and EDGE.
The battery of the SGH-Z650i lasts for about 2 and half hours talk time along with good 8 days of standby.

hi! I em from serbia, and i don't speach english ery well. but to have internet you have to call call center and they will give you instructions.
i have the same problem with seting mp3 for rintone. can enyone help me?

It is not only that your phone has this problem, also the SGH E-250 has the same..and i think many more.

Pls Tell me which option can appear durring the call. Can u record conversation or can u access the menu for on voice recorder to record conversaion.

to Martin, yes u can use a 2GB card, i am using one & it works fine.
to Dannela, Marko & others, to put your own MP3 as a ring tone u have to convert it to AAC format. go to PC Studio then "transfer files", select a song & choose the option convert to aac or u can simply downlode an aac converter if PC Studio doesnt work for u(like mine), so here's a link http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html?ref=google&ref2=c24mp3converterrow or http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.html

can someone tell me if my z650i is or is not capable of having a 2GB card for saving images an videos? because when I put it into my phone it remains blocked.....

Hi,how could i acess MMS and 3G functions on the Z650i my network providers in Malaysia was unable to do so.Said the functions were locked in the imode.14 other users are stranded without the functions mantioned.Dasperately seeking solutions.Bought the phone in Hong Kong
