Can this phone be turned (the screen see at the back?).. I mean as it can be used as self-phooto that we can see oyrsself in the screen as we take a picture.
If it can't be used as a self-photo phone... why should Samsung produce this phone that can be turned???

Hi..Finally a phone with all features in ONE
I am desperately waiting for this phone man..
Does anyone know if this phone will be available in Middle East. Else if it is available in any other parts of the world, I will purchase it online. Pls. reply if anyone knows when is it gonna be released.

This is definitely my dream phone. It was every single feature I would want my phone to have AND it's small, sleek and absolutely gorgeous. I would buy it in a second.
One problem though. Does anyone know if this phone will be released in the US? I've seen articles about a "Samsung A990" for Verizon Wireless, which seems to be the US version of this phone. Can anyone confirm this and if it's so, does anyone know when it is supposed to be available?

this phone is going to be the bomb guys,that is if it's ever released and it's reasonably priced i think samsung stand to make a lot of money from this one. can't wait to lay my hand on one.

they will probably cancel this??? Lets develop a pretend fone leave for a year then cancel it,,rudy hell samsung your batts are tripe & most of your stuff never get to the uk,,so go away & get yourself sorted

this phone is better than sharp 903 because, not only is it smaller and lighter, it also has 120mb more internal memory, in addition to it's external screen.

Sharp 903 doesn't have A2DP and is a huge brick with a cam that doesn't have protection. Also, we get to enjoy local warranty with this unit. =)

nokia has never been able to produce a phone with a half decent camera (even N90) with a reasonable size, and prize. Also, the LCD of Nokia models are rubbish and the same goes as well for their phone's sound quality (check reviews from www.mobile-review.com)

CCD Matrix, Pentax module, Auto-focus and macro-mode, 3.2 mega pixels. The lense looks much bigger than other samsung models, this will enhance angle flexibility and light reception.
This is definitely my DREAM phone. You can twist, swivel, fold, or even close it on the opposite side so that the external screen would be in an enclosed position, that will make it look like a real digital camera whereas they have big 2 inch screens on the back. That chrome-grip also prevents you from shaking it while snapping pics. Cheers.

Dont think this one has Symbian.
However I wanna add that I have a D720 (symbian series 60).Samsung doesn't have expertise in symbian OS. They are using nokia licensed symbian in D720/D730 and its kinda slow.There is no support from Samsung either. I'm getting help from Nokia forum.
You can have a lot of features even without symbian,..like in D500/D600. In my opinion it would be much faster and better if this doesnt have symbian.

A CDMA EVDO version destined for Verizon Wireless, US called A990 has been FCC approved on 14th April.Interesting.

ok so I am totally confused now, some say it has the superb Symbian OS some say it doesnt. It would be a damn shame if it didnt have this operating system!!! Please Samsung make this model SMART ;)
