Can you listen to the mp3 player whilst doing other things such as writing texts. I know you can't on the D600. Wondering if it was the same for other samsung fones

when i see this phone i cant help to think this is the allmighty king of all phones, got the specs of k750i and more, but is a clamshell, the best phone style of all

this phone is such a good phone, its got everything, even though i'm not a that much of a fan of camera phone by, i swear this phone has everything.

Finally a nice camera phone with an operating system. I love my D600 but the one thing that really has me down about it is the lack of symbian. I really love using the camera and video on it and have had a blast but I need symbian in my life. So many great applications, so this phone will definitely be great for me if it turns out well.

this is an amazing phone from samsung!!!!!!but can u produced a phone greater than 3.2 MP phone?when it will happen anyway?

3.2 camera is not a big deal anymore~~~in korea~~~most recent sansung's phone come with a 8 mpx camera~~(should we call it phone come with camera or camera come with phone?)and also~~they have a phone with 7 mpx with 3x optical zoom~~

My point is why you would compare z710 with Sharp903. Having optical zoom puts it in a different category in my opinion.
So compare that with other samsungs that has optical zoom.

Z710 most probably is not Symbian. GSMarena took it off a few days back.Other sites doesnt say it has OS either.
But samsung symbian D720/730 are avilable now.I'm waiting for my D720.

Well I just got my first samsung phone the d600 and I have been very pleased with it thus far. Camera and screen are great and speakers are pretty good as long as not too much bass present in song (then you have to adjust the equalizer). Only thing I wish the D600 had was symbian, so maybe I'll get this a bit after it comes out. First experience with samsung phone though has been wonderful and exeeded my expectations of the phone and will probably get this one a bit after it comes out. Just my two cents.

they other samsung with a 3mpx are not released worldwide yet. when they plan to release this one? 2 years after that one?

@kiki... Samsung phone price drop very fast u know. Looking at the spec, this phone will cost quite a lot. But after it launch, just wait another 6 month, the price will sure be down to half. Do consider the nokia N80.

Im so much with you "Andy" This Samsung baby has everything in a small package. They just need to release it on time.I Hope they do.
And "Mark" please go read some news articles. Samsung had 7mp/8mp camera phones with autofocus and optical zoom in Korea for quite sometime. If you see them, then your Sharp 930 will look just like a red brick.lol

How can people say this is like the Nokia N90 i couldn"t believe the size an weight of the N90 an this mobile will easily fit into your pockets.the N90 would not fit into your pockets easy.the Z710 will make Nokia panic an realise this camera will easily beat there cameras on there mobiles an with auto-focus this might challenge Sony Ericssons cameras,Just hope its released in Europe an not just for the forgein networks do not let us down please SAMSUNG
