UE 13.8 is a QUADBAND and supports USB 2.0 & BT 1.2. This goes the same for UE 12.9. GSMarena needs to fix this up.

Is there any picture showing the back? Post please.
I couldnt find any to see if there is a flash or not.
I would be surprised if they took out the flash from a 3mp auto focus cam.

@T4xM
Yeh Im addicted to nicely designed gadgets..
Saw the red,blue,gray,&silver versions of D900 at www.newmobile.com
@Seed
3G is 384kbps
HSDPA is-High Speed Downlink Packet Access with speed varying from 1.8Mbps to 3.6mbps.

I may not own a samsung Z720.Wats with HSDPA?Is it is alot faster than a 3g service?
The design may be a little "same old". But,
I was impressed that samsung could slim down a 3g phone to soo thin and yet retain a good 3mp camera and a whole lot of functions.
There's one advice to phone buyers. Never buy a phone for it's music player. As for me, I own my own samsung mp3 player. The quality rocks and it's better than over-advertised i-pods. Anyway, my point is to keep your music players and mobile phone seperate. That's only an opinion!

it's kinda freaky why samsung releasing the Ultra range with mostly old tech like USB1.1, BT1.2... why they always keep something for the future and samgsung supporters can't enjoy the max?

I hate Samsung for that pYGG
The Ultra Edition 13.5 "Joy Top of the clas" slider supposed to have everything that D900 has along with 150mb memroty and 3G. But they didnt release it.
Samsung is playing us all man. Next thing I know they will release it after a few months or so and call it a differnt model. WTF.

Less on board memory than D900, no flash !
Why can't Samsung just bring one new model out where they don't remove the important features of earlier models ? D900 is almost my ideal phone but no 3G.

These are the phones that supports quadband plus UMTS. I dont know why the rest of the 3G phones are triband.
Nokia N80/N71/N73/E61, i-mate JASJAM, O2 XDA Trion/XDA Exec,Qtek 9600,BlackBerry 8707v etc

Is there any phone that happens to be quad-band and 3G? I would really like to use this phone on the Cingular network but it looks like it doesn't do 850Mhz or is there a mistake and it does quad-band GSM like the D900 plus 3G?

@JH
I think you are talking about Ultra Edition 13.5 “Joy, Top of the class”. That looks exactly like D900..but 3G-no HSPDA. who knows maybe Samsung will add it later with a different name.No idea why they are flooding their profile with similar models.
@Alissa
HSDPA stands for High Speed Downlink Packet Access with speed varying from 1.8Mbps to 3.6mbps where as 3G is 384kbps.
@Correction.
You are right. I didnt notice that.My apologies.
...and about Samsung battery...not sure whats the technical problem in making a thin 1000mAH or higher mAh battery. There might be something.all this thin Samsungs has 630mAh-850mAh...not good enough for heavy use.Anyone knows?

NEC was the first major manufacturer to produce card phones.......NOT Samsung!
