The 18.4-inch Samsung Galaxy View tablet, which went on sale in the US earlier this month, has received a decent price cut in the country - the device is now selling for $499.99, down from its launch price of $599.99.

The tablet is available for purchase directly from Samsung, as well as third party retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo. While the official listing shows both black and white color options as available, third party retailers are currently only selling the black variant.

Specs-wise, the device is powered by an Exynos 7580 chipset with 1.6 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, and sports an 18.4-inch 1080p touchscreen. It comes with 2GB RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, 2.1 MP front shooter, 5,700 mAh battery, and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
