Samsung's Freestyle Gen 2 projector goes official with built-in cloud game streaming
Samsung announced its Freestyle Gen 2 projector with Gaming Hub capabilities which comes as a successor to last year’s first-gen Freestyle projector. The premise is simple – as long as you have a stable internet connection and a space to project, you can stream content or play thousands of gaming titles wherever you see fit. Samsung’s Gaming Hub supports Xbox Game Pass, Nvidia GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, Utomik, Antstream Arcade and Blacknut game streaming platforms.

The Freestyle 2 projector is compatible with a wide array of Bluetooth controllers and comes with increased memory for a more fluid experience. You also get Samsung’s SolarCell remote which uses sunlight to recharge its battery. You can also recharge it via USB-C.
The rest of the spec sheet is identical to last year’s first-gen Freestyle. The projector can scale from 30 to 100 inches and its resolution is capped at 1080P. There’s HDR10+ support and a 100,000:1 contrast ratio. You also get 360-degree audio with a 5W speaker system, Tizen OS and Bixby voice assistant. I/O is limited to a single Micro HDMI and a USB-C port.

The neat thing with the Freestyle 2 is that you can simply point it to a wall and the projector will automatically adjust content output so there’s no need to mess around with alignment or manual keystone correction.
