Samsung's midrange foldable is coming in 2024 with surprising price
Samsung is looking to expand its foldable lineup to the midrange. According to a TrendForce report, Samsung plans to announce a midrange foldable next year. This ties together with previous rumors but it's still not clear whether this will be a book-style foldable or a clamshell.
It's likely the latter, and we could be looking at a Galaxy Z Flip6 FE with watered-down specs. The report also says that Huawei will look to introduce a more competitively-priced foldable soon.
According to Revegnus on Twitter, Samsung has set a price target for its midrange foldable of $400 to $500 - even after accounting for VAT, Europeans are likely looking at a €650 foldable. This is still an amazing price - the Galaxy Z Flip5 starts at just under €800.
