Samsung's One UI 6.1.1 will introduce "video AI", tipster claims
Mere hours ago we told you that Samsung and Google are working together on developing new AI features for their respective smartphone lines, and now a new rumor claims the next iteration of Samsung's Android skin will bring a new AI feature.
According to prolific tipster Ice Universe, One UI 6.1.1 will come with one "key functional innovation", namely "video AI". Unfortunately there are no actual details about what that means or what precisely it will do.
We can of course assume that it's either going to be generative AI powered video creation based on prompts, or some kind of AI-powered improvement of video shooting on-device. This is just speculation, keep that in mind.
One UI 6.1.1 could be introduced alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 at the next Unpacked event in July, seeing as how One UI 6.1 debuted on the Galaxy S24 family at the previous Unpacked event.
This feature might even be one of those co-developed by Samsung with Google - the timing of this rumor does strongly hint at that. We'll let you know when we find out more.

The world? Society? Can you function without a smartphone? I definitely need one for work and privately.
