Samsung's unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 to be later than previously rumored

Samsung has been rumored to hold its next Unpacked event, where it will introduce the Galaxy Z Fold7 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7, in New York in early July, but now a new rumor comes to contradict that. According to a tipster over on X, the event will actually take place in mid-July.
Unfortunately, there's no exact date to speak of, at least not yet. The same source also claims the Galaxy Z Fold7 will have better cameras, bigger screens, "better stamina", and, unfortunately, a higher price than its predecessor.

For its part, Samsung has already started teasing a bunch of "Ultra" features a few days ago, which made us think it would be launching an Ultra version of the phone as well - but in the meantime, that's been debunked.
So it's looking like all of those "Ultra" features will come at a premium. The wait for foldable smartphone prices to come down to more affordable levels thus continues, and at this rate, it's unclear if it will ever happen.
Anyway, the Fold7 has been rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, even though the timing of its launch isn't great - this SoC's successor is getting announced in late September, only around two months after the Fold7's sales will probably start.
