Say hello to the sleek and shiny Sony Ericsson T707

26 March, 2009

Sony Ericsson T707 is now officially out. It may not be an extra exciting device, but it's sleek, it's got the looks, and it sports some quite nice light effects.

It's not the first time you're seeing the Sony Ericsson T707 on our site since this little baby was spotted in the wild only a few weeks ago during a Sony Ericsson event in China. Well, now it's as official as it gets since the handset has just been announced by the company with the help of the tennis star Maria Sharapova.

The smart T707 flip will come with a 2.2" QVGA main display and a smaller scratch-resistant monochromatic one - on the outside.

Also aboard the T707 is a 3.2-megapixel fixed-focus snapper with cell-id geotagging, HSDPA and Bluetooth support and a music player with gesture control.

The Sony Ericsson T707 sports an M2 card slot and as Sony Ericsson say it is supposed to get along well even with microSD cards. Say what? Is this the beginning of the end of M2?

The Sony Ericsson T707 is expected to start shipping in Q2 2009 in three color versions - Mysterious Black, Spring Rose and Lucid Blue. As usual with Sony Ericsson handsets, there's no word on pricing yet.

This phone is ridiculous, the simcard holder seems to have problems keeping the sim card in place --> resulting in "inactive usim". The phone itself reset on many occassions. The phone software is old and been reused dozen times in older SE phones. D...
