Do u mind may i ask where in the place in Philippines can i upgrade my 903 to uk firmware? CAn u write sms more than 160chars as claimed by one of it's users here.I buy the phone in taiwan and i plan to bring it home.

i guess it's a common problem for the sharp 802 when the memory gets full.

To distressed 802 user:
Your 802sh needs to be reformated. I suggest you have it reformated using the Euro version.

I was just wondering, can you get a usualy charger to this phone..? it's just an english charger. i live in norway, so...that dosn't work...:(

hi everyone! I'm using a sh802. bought it from a friend. my gprs is already configured but i don'e know how to set up my mms. does any of you know what's the configuration settings for mms? i'm a globe subscriber. thanks! :-)

my sharp 802 won't open. i've been using the phone for months now. the problem is it won't open.
only the "please wait" and "initializing" message appear. it goes on a cycle and repeats again and again. anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, I just have this wonderful phone from my sis in japan. I have it unlocked but my MMS and GPRS dont work. I cant send any picture from infrared and bluetooth. I am a globe user. how can I make those features working? thanks in advance.

hi i just bought my sharp 802 japan version. my problem is when i used globe sim i can call and text but if i use my smart sim i can only make and receive phone calls but i cant receive and send txt messages. Will someone pls help me with this. thanks!

Hiya..I just bought my vodafone 802SH few months ago.It's the euro version.Everything else works great except for the internet and mms.I can't seem to get the right settings for my phone's internet access and I can't seem to sent and recieve mms from my fiends.Does anyone knows how to,if so ,I need some help..many thanks!!I'm using DiGi by the way..

hey lance! my sh802 would turn a year old soon. and i have no regrets having this phone! Globe sent me the settings for using MMS/GPRS. You can visit the nearest Globe HUB or Service Center near you. and for the Vodafone LIve settings, i'm sorry to tell you that it can't be removed. you have to access your bookmarks if you're going to visit sites. please advice me what to do with my vodafone 802SH japan version, i just bought it awhile ago, how can i activate my 3G in it using globe or smart and which network is better...
i still have the "VODAFONE LIVE" format, what should i do to get it in philippine setting and get rid of it.
where can i buy a USB cable for this phone and how much,
by d way when i bought this phone it has a VODAFONE C.D on it can this help me transfer Mp4.

and is it true that japan version cant play anything?

ei peeps..pls help me!!! i just bought my "sharp 802sh vodafone Japan version" just awhile ago in greenhills, how can i activate my 3G network in GLOBE if my 802SH is in VODAFONE mode it still has a "Vodafone live" how can i get rid off it, so that my 3G & internet connection will be in GLOBE & Phillipine setting...and plus is it true that i cant play Mp3 files in this fone or paste it directlyfrom my P.C? WHERE in the Phillipines can i buy a USB cable for this Phone...pls help

FELLOW GLOBE TELECOM USERS HELP!!!
I've been trying to make my MMS/GPRS work by activating N70,,1234 to 2951 but sadly I get no reply from the network! Why is that?!? I've had my 802 for a year now and I can't seem to compose more than 160 characs coz it blocks with this MMS thing since I cant seem to activate my MMS/GPRS... sucks big time!
And regarding 3G for Globe, does anybody of you out there have tried their 802's working for video call? since smart subscribers had their way to enjoy video calling with this fone?

How come my sent messages are not saved in the sent items of my Sharp 802sh? The Sent Items folder is forever empty no matter how many messages I successfully send? Am I the only one experiencing this problem?
My Sharp 802sh is a Vodafone from Japan and I just had it unlocked here in the Philippines. Is it safe to have it flashed in the hopes of having the mp3 player, 3GP video call, GPRS and MMS functions work properly? Please someone advise me on this before I have my phone flashed. Thanks

Thanks le_on_23. I will try what you suggested. I'm more concerned about not being able to transfer the videos in .asf format to my computer. I tried accessing it via the handset manager using bluetooth but the handset manager program can't detect my sharp 802sh unit on bluetooth. I can't say that the bluetooth in my computer is not working because the cellphone unit is able to detect it when pairing and sending photos. It's just the videos in .asf format I'm having problems with

you need to have a card reader and connect it to ur pc..u can just copy and paste the mp3 file from ur pc to sd card...make sure that u save it in the sounds and ringtones folder.
if u dont have card reader, u can have it installed using ur SD card to any celfone center but U will be charged of it(i think p100 for 5 songs).

Hi! Can anyone teach me how to send or upload videos in .asf format taken by the Sharp 802sh. I chose this option coz videos taken in .asf format are way clearer and utilizes the full view of the display screen, but unfortunately the saved .asf files don't appear and play as easily as .3gp files. Does anyone know how to tranfer these .asf video files. They are saved in the SD memory card but they are not visible when the videos folder is opened. They are only visible when accessed via the media player. Also, can anyone explain why the SMS messages I send are not saved in the Sent Items folder? Hope someone can help me out on this. My Sharp 802sh is a Vodafone opened here in the Philippines. Thanks
