My 902SH is unlocked/Japanese and I put MP3s on - works great. The max is 192 bit rate/48MHz and anything lower is fine. I formatted the 1GB SD card and put them in the \PRIVATE\VODAFONE\My Items\Sounds & Ringtones folder - access them through the music player, pointing it to the SD card.
I also successfully put 3GP videos and images on. Still trying to work out MPEGs and of course the games problems... but I cannot get on Cingular GPRS yet.

Alright dude.
How are you playing MP3 tracks on your 902 thorugh your sd memory. I have been trying to get tracks from my computer to my phone for months now. any advice at all would be great and much appreciated.

hi,
bin trying to download music tracks to my sharp 902 from, my computer. After months of trying and realising there is no way of legally doing it, the manager in a vodafone store told me that unblocking codes can be accessed over the internet in the form of a dmx code. If anyone has had any luck with this or successfully filled there 1GB memory full of tracks, please let me no how.

So...
I've gone through all the settings on all the web sites for the Cingular GPRS... even on their own web site.
The only issue I can find is that the user name is wap@cingulargprs.com and the Sharp only has spaces for 4 less than that length! What to do :-(

I just got the phone this morning. I really like it after working out the MP3 problem (has to be a bit rate of 192 or less - I was trying higher), formatting the SD card so you know where to put MP3s, and so on.
It is a very nice phone.
However I have spent over an hour on the Internet attempting to find step by step setup instructions for MMS and Internet for Cingular (North America). Loads of people ask, some people partially answer, but nobody seems to be able to give a step by step process - there is always something missing or just a bunch of settings without a logical order. Anyone know?

help me please... i cant connect my sharp via bluetooth to pc... everything ok but then i try to send something to pc, my phone says: no devices found... whats the problem maybe someone has it too.

To Ricardo: You have to identify the port where the usb bluetooth is plugged in in the HSManager go to interface configuration and chose the right port.
To Timmy: Hey man you probably have the 902 and not the 902SH kuz mine just won't read the mp3 i put on it...

does sharp shows *.swf ? i have one but i cant watch it: "invalid file". whats the problem. i read what sharp 902 can show flash files...

I bought this phone recently.
It keeps switching off randomly and asks me to enter the pin code again. Is this a technical probelem? What is the solution? Can anyone help?

Hi Rokie. you have proberly playd with the Lock switch part on the card itself just flick it bak.
