hi. i have a problem using 3g on my sharp 902 phone here in the philippines and im using a sim card which is not vodafone. please help.

ON the euro firmware can u or cant u just bring over a mp3 file from a computer and use it as a tingtone. or do u have to download it.is this a lock by sharp or by vodafone? cause then if its unlocked from vodafone will u be able to then??

This phone is brilliant , if you check on your messages settings it states automatically delete sent items,you need to chose no because it defaults to yes.

need some help
i also got this phone and i have the same problems posted below.first i can't use the sent tones as ringtones. second, messages that had been sent are not saved in "sent items". third, i can't use my 3G, MMS, WAP, and other internet settings because it's not yet confogured. i have a Globe sim...and i'm dying for it be configured....in addition, i can't set my pictures with 300kb or more as my wallpaper. how can i deal with these problems...the phone is so cool but its giving me a real pain!thanks!

hi, guys! i bought this unit yesterday and d only concern i have is the sent items. how can i save all my sent items? i can't see the items i sent in the "sent" icon.can somebody help me? tnx in advance..

i own a 902sh(org) 903sh(wht) 904sh(blk&blu) all of em' Japanese Versions & ilove em' all & wouldn't trade em' for anything! Go Sharp!

since when did the color made any phone great?
NE-wayz Warm Orange is the best color IMO.
There's just too many White 902's out there!

Its a great phone specially the white colour!
The dessign is actually more atractive than the V903. I did also had that problem with the reception (london) sometimes it didnt accept calls ....i changed the hanset lluckily found another one in stock which i ggot stolen. i have now got the 904 from Japan but unfortunately haven't been able to unlock it yet !! ??

To everybody with the MP3 problem for ringtones, this is what sharp has to say;
Is it possible to assign a MP3 as a ring tone?
Only MP3 ringtones downloaded directly to your handset using WAP from a MP3 ring tone provider that support the Open Mobile Alliance DRM 1.0 Forward Lock mechanism will work. This is to prevent any possible breach of copyright.

ANSWER TO JERALD:
The passcode for bluetooth is 9999.
your sharp 902 must be euro firmware beacause if it is japan firmware you cannot play mp3 file. only amr files. If your using japan firmware u must convert it first to amr file.
you can identify japan and euro firmware by going to message: If your space in typing a message is number o your firmware is already euro, but if your space is your scroll right button your using japan firmware.
Me my problem in my sharp 902 is I cannot set my mp3 file as a message tone or as a ringing tone. Is there anyone can help with this? plsss!!!

I have this phone, i got it for my birthday in july. I bought it in Portugal for 400 euros and now that i've moved back to australia im still using it. However i had to get it unlocked, i'm still on a vodafone sim but it still didn't work with the sim cards from here.
It's a fantastic phone, i love it. I still need to buy something to transfer stuff, but the camera is really good, i have 2 mp3s on it and they play with excellent quality. I highly recommend this phone, and don't see myself trading in for a different one anytime soon.

e.g. for the Sharp GX25 it is 'SHARP-TQ-GX25'
