My husband has the 902 and it has gone to initalising twice. The first time it reset but this time it won't move off the intialising page. Has anyone had the same problem and if so, how did you get it to work again. There are much better phones out there than this one. He has had trouble downloading text/MMS messages as well.

I live in South Africa. I am very interested in acquiring this phone. The functionalities on this phone appear to be amazing. However, I am told by consultants in South Africa that this phone is not popular in SA and it often has problems. I then did further research on this phone through internet and talking to various other consultants. The opinions differ from eachothers. I just like to find out did anyone experienced any problems with Sharp 902? Kindly help. Thanks.

Had mine for 12mnths now and still love it. Just wish I could understand how to convert WMV movies into the correct format it needs. Can't beat the quality of the screens on Sharps.

david - it sounds like it has a software fault. get the reciept or proof of warrenty and take it into your local CPW for a repair. if out of warrenty it will cost you money if its in warrenty it will be free

I got this phone from my mams friend last Tuesday and its great but for some reason the images taken with the camera turn purple when in 480x640, 768x1024, 960x1280 or 1224x1632 but its fine when used in 120x120, 120x160 and 240x320. has anyone got a solution to this? **urgent**

Hey, can anyone help me. I take a video in QVGA(MPEG4)format and try and save it to my SD. I have plenty of free memory and it won't save.

Hi everybody...i live in Jakarta-Indonesia, i am fan of sharp 902, but the batterie is too weak.
Is there any other bigger one or can i use the batterie from the 903??
If yes...where can i buy some????

I would assume you convert the mp3 to a mmf file to make a ringtone,(just like you do for a gx30) i do not know the length the 902 allows for a ringtone though.
