Pros: Harmon-Kardon sound with Clari-Fi (makes compressed audio sound more nstural) and Live stage, nice ctips large display, great rear-facing cameta for the price, voice search and dialing, micro SD slot
Cons: bad selfie cam, bad speaker, low ROM/RAM, mediocre battery
ZTE Warp Elite is a good inexpensive replacememt if you are not an audiophile and want better everything else. Wanna drop $400, get the ZTE Axon 7, best phone out there IMO. Tax refund time, its mine.

It's odd, but this is the second phone that I have had which kind of sucks as a phone but excels as a camera when compared to others of it's ilk. I used to have an audiovox virgin mobile flip phone that was so cheap you could snag em for five bucks on ebay, and I bought several because the system on the thing was wont to go wonky out of the blue and just freeze or crash. But the pics that thing took were much better than the popular Moto Razr ones that were so hot at that time. No idea why.
Our friend let us have his new Aquos when he got an Iphone instead and even though I don't even have cellular service with Sprint, I still carry that phone with me just for the camera on it alone. It takes much better, sharper, more vibrant pictures with lots of options for low light and adjusting for less optimum circumstances than anything I have used that wasn't a dedicated CAMERA alone. I love the macro focus for taking up close shots of weird bugs I find in the garden, and it is really pretty amazing that some of the shots I got are taken on a smartphone... I don't think I've ever used it as an actual phone, though I did carry it for wifi access/cellular data when our friend had an unlimited data plan for it while I still used my Moto Razr v3xx (which was the best PHONE functionality I've had since flip phones - and I am still missing that with the whole android experience in general).
Now that I have my own smartphone though I don't need to bring it for wifi access or cellular data anymore, and yet I do bring that one in my purse too, just in case I might need to take a good photo and the Samsung Core Prime won't cut it. Since it takes much better pics than any of the Sony Xperias we've had, and also beats the Galaxy Note and Ipod touch too, it is the one device I always look for when I need a good vibrant photo. The Aquos is essentially my digital camera - with games and a pretty screen.

Earpiece speqker is very very low sound. very low catagoeies speaker system, some times we didn't hear...

Just a very unimpressive phone. I have owned two, as one had many glitches and I got a new one on warranty. But both had problems. Screen is impressive, but consistently unreliable, has random restarts, drops calls, and often freezes while attempting to multitask. I say avoid this phone.

Penny, 12 Apr 2016I purchased this phone in May 2015,I loved the silver color... moreI purchased this Sharp Aquos same time you did (May 2015), now is NOTt working, I can get signal only when I'm close to a tower (sprint tower), I called Boost Mobile and they told me everything was fine, had to call Sharp to get a fix or replacement, Sharp did the same, is not the hardware you need to go back with Boost. After two weeks (~8 hours discussion), I opted to re-use my old LG phone. Also as you said it photos are awful and freeze a lot, there is no way you can remove the battery and restart the phone again

Hello
I bouht an aquos 305SH in Japan(SOFT BANK sim unlocked) market.now i use it in Srilanka on GSM network.my issue is, i can get voice call only.but can not access to the internet if available 2G,3G and 4G.all network settings are correct.i hope instructions from any one to solve this problem

I purchased this phone in May 2015,I loved the silver color and the sleek square look.I was told it's the first and only sharp android phone. My problems with this phone. Are it takes awful pictures and freezes constantly sometimes I can't even shut it off It hangs up when I'm talking to people, it overheats all of the time I hate it and I'm looking to buy a new Android anyone care to advise me on what good android phones to buy

I have had this cell phone, giving to me from a friend, on the Sprint network for almost a year now. I find its great. I play A LOT of 1st 2nd and 3rd party player games. I'm surprised how well the battery holds up to my game play. I conduct most my calls via Speaker, Which I have no problems with. From time to time I need to have a private convo, at this time using ear piece. Altho it is such slim phone, I found the perfect cover/protector for the phone and makes it bulky, but perfect for this phone. I LOVE this phone, I play, Candy Crush Saga's. I will have all 3 games open at one time along with FV2 Country Escape but doesn't slow this cell down. I have a 4 yr old, I seem to miss the best facial expressions she does. But with the hold and snap option on this phone, I never miss that perfect shot. I don't care for the front camera. It is a crappy pic. But not into selfies much anyway.
If anyone is wondering, I'm in the state of Pennsylvania USA .
Grant you I do NOT like Sprint network, and will be taking phone to Straighttalk when contract is over. But I am not paying for the service, nor the phone right now. Thanks for friends.
I just don't understand why so many people say they have so many problems with this cell phone. Look, I use my phone 19 out of 24 hours a day sometimes. I think more than anyone. Wouldn't you think I would have problems ? I have NONE. Other than a crappy front camera. LOL

I would have to agree with other comments/reviews, this is the most awful cell phone I have ever owned. I am having the same issues that everyone else is having and when I can and will do is replace this one for a flip phone, that is how upset I am at this quality of a phone that I don't even want a smart phone at this time, don't buy it no matter what.

All time the same soft bank if I loaded from WIFI.
European Network is in different carer and branch frequency this is problem for my aquos

This phone is terrible. I've had this phone for over 7 months and have had problems with it since the first day I bought it. It freezes to the point you have to hold the lock screen bottom until it completely turns off. It's a piece of shit. I do not recommend it. Also, every person I have met who also has this phone hate it and have the same problems. Also, the camera is complete crap. In order to take a semi-decent photo, I have to use my Snapchat camera. Also, the front camera is located at the bottom of the screen, so you have to flip your phone upside down just to take a picture of yourself. If I could, I would give it NEGATIVE 5 stars.

so I first got the phone in nov after 3months the phone would freeze at least 4 time in one day a few times a week I did a reset and com.android.phone error happened and it would not let the phone see cell towers and it did not go away I took the phone in and they said is a hardware bug so I got a replacement of the same model and it froze up 5 times with in having it for 9 days sad to say the 2nd one is being replaced with an htc
good points of this phone is photo and scrn quality and the audio plastic screen does not crack like glass does
Down sides of the phone is phone cases ive looked at stores and cant find one but there are plenty on the net. The over heating while charging and use scares me from getting one.
plastic screen it scratches easy but dues not crack as easy.
