Location Services pertain to GPS. The reason why this phone has no GPRS/EDGE is because it is a CDMA device as opposed to GSM.

I really like the phone, it is locked to "Sprint Prepaid" and I would really like to know how long I have to wait before Sprint Prepaid (no airtime purchased yet) allows me to use it elsewhere, like perhaps Page Plus?

This being my 9th Android phone or tablet & as an XDA Senior Member, I concur that may be the best $150 smartphone today with 2 exceptions: Boost Mobile failed to honor the "One Month of FREE service" offer I accepted on 10/14/2014 and Sharp has failed to provide ANY assistance to unlock the bootloader so that like 99.99999% of smartphones, we can have custom recovery and customer ROMS.

I concur with 2 exceptions: BoostMobile has not honored the "one month of free service offer" I accepted on 11/14/2014 and Sharp has offered ZERO help in unlocking the bootloader so custom ROMs can be created and installed.

The rear camera is pretty damn good (for 8mp) and the front is less quality like every other phone. Maybe you should try playing with the camera settings. This is by far the best $150 prepaid phone you can get. The best thing is it doesn't looj like all the other cookie cutter phones.

It says no Edge and no Gprs on specs..so that means users cant use apps that need gprs like maps..etc?

I own this phone, used on Boost Mobile USA. Battery life is decent, screen is really nice, call quality is decent enough, only 2 problems are the loud speaker is very very weak, and both cameras are horrible. But for $150 what can one expect.
