ekapn, 11 Feb 2022Why gsmarena not publish Aquos R3 on they site?Because R3 only sold in Japan, not available in other countries, and the worst part, local japan market phone is locked with japan operators because this phone is not for sell outside japan
Why would the team put the list inside gsmarena while the phone is only for japan domestic market? Even they got it from japan bid site directly, the phone is still cellular locked, not just sharp or sony, samsung and iphone are also not sold unlocked in japan

did you get android 11 on aquos r2? how about the battery life? what's screen on time you would get when you just full on doing emulator gaming?
at this moment my choices are sony,sharp,LG actually haha,whichever goes the cheapest, the ones with sd865 still a bit pricey so i need to wait a bit longer or just go with sd855 or this aquos r2, i'm not in hurry so i could wait and gather more informations
and i just checked those aethersx2, is it legit? seems promising

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2021and how about game emulator? is it also a no go? i was thin... moreBeen using this phone for 1,5 years primarily for playing retro emulation. and truthfully I got nothing to complaint about this phone emulation capabilities, anything you throw at it just running at 60fps but of course surely there are some fps dips here and there but it's almost unnoticeable. just make sure you got the right version of emulator apk :)
But this December though, that emu aethersx came, and this phone struggles not only on Emulating 60 fps in games, but also throttle because of heat problem lol. It is solved with that blacksh*rk funcooler, but I considered it not ideal because it's not mobile and simple enough for on the go ordinary people.
for longer and much better emulation experience, I suggest you get your hands on atleast SD865 with Android 10 with decent cooling system. I heard good things for LG device in aethersx forum, but I dont like LG phones,,,, maybe because of past bootloop accidents years ago lol
Now I am gonna keep this phone until it reach it's 3 years of usage time, hopefully that aethersx have been optimized so
much so this phone can run games without throttling so I don't need to change my gaming phone lol.

You should increase its bettry power. It should be 5000mAh. This phone draining too much bettry. Please enhance the mAh of bettry without this Snapdragon chipset is useless. If you increase its mAh to 5000mAh & reduce its bettry consumption then it will be the best ever gaming mobile ever in a reasonable price.
